Hi everybody!  I haven't shared any updates on Dog Save the Queen Mobile Game in forever, but that's because my team and I wanted to be good and wait until Thanksgiving was over to share our Corgi holiday merch!  We've made wrapping paper, pillows, tree ornaments, and a whole lot of stuff that I plastered corgis onto because you can never have too many corgis <3

Who’s ready for Shark Week???

I hope the game becomes very popular! Have you considered the issues surrounding the popularization of dog breeds whenever they are in popular culture? Like, when 101 Dalmatians came out, tons of people went straight to a breeder, bought a dalmatian, suddenly realized that dogs require responsibility, and then promptly shuffed them all off at shelters. Perhaps you could write something at the end of the game about shelters, petfinder, or a corgi rescue?

Thank you very very much! <3Actually that question has been something that I’ve been thinking about for awhile now. If the game works out and turns out great for the breed, then that’d be awesome! But then I know that we'd be responsible for what happens afterward. It’s really important to me, and to our whole team, that we put a great deal of emphasis on shelter pets, spaying and neutering, and healthy adoption processes. I’ve reached out to the SPCA as well as other adoption programs to feature each other, and even if we don’t get a response from them, on our social media pages we feature smaller and unknown shelters from all over the US. Right now our focus is primarily on getting numbers growing so that the game and Kickstarter works out, and we promise to use that power only for the good of animals. I don’t know if you knew, but I actually am on the lookout for adopting a corgi soon. So many people have referred me to reputable breeders, but instead I’m opting for a shelter pet- this little guy Max in Texas actually has been on my mind for a few weeks, and if funding pulls through then I seriously want to take him home as my new pup <3 He’d act as a sort of mascot, and I’d constantly remind people that hey, there are so many great dogs out there looking for a home, because you never know where your next best friend is going to come from <3Seriously, thank you so so much for bringing this up, because it’s a serious topic that I personally want to make sure is handled as best as we can :)- Aubrey, Dog Save the Queen
