The Dallas crash outs 😭
The Best Conversations Happened Around The Grill
The food was never the real reason people gathered.
It helped.
But it wasn't the reason.
The real reason was the atmosphere.
The conversations.
The laughter.
The feeling that for a few hours, nobody needed to be anywhere else.
After another successful week of training, Brock invited the Golden Bros to meet at the park for an afternoon cookout. The grills were already warming up by the time the first teammates arrived. Soon the air filled with the smell of burgers, sausage rolls, and food cooking over open flames while music played quietly in the background.
Some bros volunteered to cook.
Others claimed they were helping while mostly standing nearby talking.
Nobody seemed to mind.
The pace of the day was slower than usual.
There were no drills to complete.
No matches to win.
No deadlines to meet.
Just teammates enjoying each other's company.
As the afternoon stretched on, conversations shifted from soccer and training to future goals, favorite memories, and plans for the summer ahead.
The food brought everyone together.
The brotherhood kept them there.
Brock looked around at the group gathered beneath the warm sunlight and smiled.
Moments like these mattered.
Not because they were extraordinary.
Because they weren't.
The strongest teams aren't built only during competition.
They're built during ordinary days shared with the right people.
One meal.
One conversation.
One memory at a time.
As the last of the food disappeared and the sun slowly began its descent, nobody seemed eager to leave.
Some of the best memories never come from championships or trophies.
Sometimes they come from standing around a grill with good food and even better company.
Stay connected.
Stay grateful.
Stay Gold.

You started this (VIII)
it’s late
like actually late
the kind of quiet where the whole building feels asleep
kk’s room is dim, just the small lamp on her desk lighting half the space
everything else is still
except them
kayleigh’s laying half on top of her, head resting on kk’s chest like it’s the most natural place in the world
kk’s been awake for a while
not moving
just letting it happen
her hand is absentmindedly tracing slow patterns along kayleigh’s arm
not thinking about it
just doing it
kayleigh shifts slightly
not enough to move away
just enough to press closer
“you’re awake,” she murmurs
kk huffs softly
“you are too”
kayleigh hums against her
“been up”
kk glances down at her
“then why you still here”
it’s quiet for a second
then kayleigh tilts her head just enough to look at her
“…you want me to leave?”
kk doesn’t answer right away
because no
not even a little
her hand pauses for a second on kayleigh’s arm
then starts moving again
slow
“no,” she mutters
kayleigh studies her for a second
then relaxes again, settling back against her chest
“okay”
and that’s it
no teasing
no pushing
just that
kk exhales softly
her hand sliding up slightly, resting more firmly at kayleigh’s side
they sit in it
the quiet
the closeness
no one watching
no one interrupting
kk didn’t realize how much she needed this part
not the tension
not the arguing
just this
“you were quiet today,” kayleigh says after a while
kk shrugs slightly
“just tired”
kayleigh doesn’t respond right away
kk can feel her thinking
“you do that when you’re thinking too much,” she says finally
kk frowns a little
“do what”
“go quiet,” kayleigh murmurs
“like you’re trying to figure something out but not saying it”
kk lets out a small breath
because that’s… not wrong
she shifts slightly under her
“you always reading into stuff?”
kayleigh smiles faintly against her
“just you”
kk rolls her eyes
but her hand tightens just a little at her side
“…weird”
kayleigh laughs softly
then goes quiet again
kk thinks that’s it
until
“you didn’t say it again today”
kk stills
just slightly
“say what”
she already knows
kayleigh tilts her head up again, looking at her
“you know what”
kk looks away for a second
then back down
“…you didn’t either”
kayleigh raises a brow
“i don’t have to”
kk huffs
“yeah okay”
there’s a pause
not awkward
just waiting
kk exhales slowly
then looks at her properly
“…you’re mine” she says
low
quieter than before
but still clear
kayleigh’s expression softens immediately
like she wasn’t expecting it to hit like that
she shifts up slightly, closer to her face now
“yeah,” she murmurs
then softer
“i know”
kk’s hand slides up to the back of her neck without thinking
pulls her in just enough to kiss her
it’s nothing like before
not rushed
not intense
just slow
soft
like they’ve got time
like they’re not trying to prove anything
when they pull back, they don’t go far
just enough to breathe
foreheads resting together
“you overthink too much,” kayleigh whispers
kk huffs quietly
“and you talk too much”
kayleigh smiles
“and you still like me”
kk doesn’t even hesitate this time
“…yeah”
kayleigh settles back against her again
like that was all she needed
kk’s hand finds its place at her side again
steady
familiar
“stay,” kk mutters after a second
kayleigh doesn’t even look up
“i am”
and she does.
I want Jeremy to be a Disney fan. And when he realises Jean has poor Disney knowledge, they have Disney Marathon with the whole team.
All this to discover that Jean very much prefers DreamWorks. To Jeremy greatest disappointment.

summary; this is war! every man for themself!
"Y/N! Look out!" Tony yells out, causing you to miss your target.
“Shit, he got away. Thanks, Tony!” You hear someone land behind you. You turn and there’s Steve, Natasha, Bucky and Sam.
“This isn’t fair, Romanogers and Winterfalcon was teaming up against me!”
Natasha smirks, “sorry, y/n. no hard feelings?”
“Not so fast!” Tony, Rhodey, Thor and Clint land in front of you. “Get away from Y/N! He’s ours!” Clint yells as he aims his gun at Sam.
“ I don’t think so,” Steve says before shooting at Rhodey, who dodged in the nick of time.
“Last chance, give us Y/N and we’ll leave you alone.” Bucky says, gun trailed on Thor.
“Never, Y/N is ours! So, fuck off!”
“I didn’t want it to come to this, Tony.” Steve bows his head before Natasha raises her gun, shooting Clint. Everyone let out gasps of surprise.
“Nat...I thought we were friends.” Clint gasped out as he collapsed to the floor.
“I’m sorry, Clint but everything is fair in war.”
“Oh my god, she killed Clint! We can’t trust them. Take cover and shoot them!” Tony yells as he, Rhodey and Thor take cover.
“What the hell just happened?” You question yourself as you run to take cover behind some spare metal.
“HOLY SHIT, NATASHA JUST SHOOT BARNES! WE’VE BEEN BETRAYED!” Steve yells out.
You roll yours eyes, of course. It’s war, what did he expect. You don’t blame her either. You look over to the left to see Natasha. “Not so fast, Widow.” You aim your gun at her.
“Team up?” She ask. “We get rid of them and then kill each other when we’re through.” You shrug, seems like a good deal.
“We have Tony, Steve, Wanda, Scott, Sam and Rhodey left.”
“I eliminated Scott and Wanda before the show down a few minutes ago.” You tell her as you lower your gun.
“That leaves us with four. Get them together as duo’s and kill them together.” You nod, standing. You began walking through the battlefield. You soon find Tony and Steve fighting. Rhodey and Sam had been elimated.
“You get Rogers and I get Stark.” You tell Natasha, who nods.
“Tony!” You yell out, running towards him and Steve.
“Y/N, no! He’ll kill you!” You see Natasha run towards Steve.
“Wait, you were with Natasha! Shit, Cap, it’s a tag team to take us out!”
You began shooting at Tony, who struggled to dodge. Natasha was fighting Steve. You could take Steve out from behind while he wasn’t looking.
You turn from Tony and aimed at Steve’s unguarded back. You let out two shots, one hit Steve in his lower back and the other at his head.
“STEVE!” Tony yelled out as he collapsed to the ground. Natasha aims over your shoulder, letting out two shots. You hear a body fall to the ground behind you.
“Got him?” She nods. “One more to go.”
“Yes, one more.” You shot her a smirk. She didn’t know you knew she’d be shot. You reach down to help her up.
“Sorry, Nat. Every man for themselves, you know?”
Her eyes widened when she saw you looking at her injury. You were quicker than her by a second, shooting her in the knee and then the chest.
“ Winner is Y/N L/N, Y/C/N.” Friday annouces as the battlefield illusion disappears and back into the training room.
“Well done, Y/N.” Natasha laughs as she holds a hand up. You help her stand, laughing. “Well, I learned from the best. Besides if it was real you’d probably kick my ass.”
“Y/N, you traitor!” You turn to see the team sans Bruce storming towards you.
You shrug, smiling at Tony. “Oops.”
“Tasha, I can’t believe you shot me!” Clint whines as Nat rolls her eyes.
“Anybody want pizza?” Tony asks. “Yeah!” The team agrees. “Fri, order the usual!”
“On it, Boss.”
“Now, who wants to play Mario Kart?”
“For, Tasha and Y/N to cheat again?! No!”
