Being as tired as he was, the orca didn’t notice Shirogane right away. The wolf was almost within fishing pole whacking distance of him by the time he heard him coming over. When the pup plopped down there, it immediately became obvious that Shirogane hadn’t noticed him either. Idate took advantage of this by slowly squirming over and wrapping his arms around the wolf’s torso, pressing his face into his side.

"Hey… Wolfy." The orca greeted him, voice muffled by the canine’s clothes. "You’re going to help me stay awake." He gave him a light, playful nip to let him know that he really had no choice but to do that, then waited eagerly for his reaction.

Shirogane was a little bit dozy at the time admittedly, since having an awareness that he might be just sitting here for half a day doing nothing but waiting for something to happen does make him a bit lethargic once he gets started. He was however not waiting for that mean orca Idate to suddenly come up from behind and wrap his arms around him, because that is something that he does not want to happen at all. But yet it did, and it startled the wolf who begun flailing and struggling in a panic to get out of the orca's grasps. 

"WAH! NO! S-Sleep is good! S-Sleep is healthy......! Go to sleep.......! Don't stay awake when you know you need sleep......!" Shirogane does not want to know what Idate wants him to do to help him stay awake, or what he'd do to him to stay awake. Unfortunately, the orca had a pretty strong grip on the wolf, so all Shiro could do was to just flail and panic.

He finally fell asleep. Unfortunately, the need for rest had taken over while he was sitting at the water’s edge, and sent him face-first into the ocean. He’s climbed back out by now, looking miserable and very bored. He’s obviously trying his damn hardest to stay awake… Maybe he’s waiting for something?

Shirogane was out on his weekly fishing trips, coming to the edge of the island to sit on cold ice for half a day to sit like a schmuck holding a string over water with a stick while hoping for fish to come bite it. Its a living. Because half his face is covered with hair, the wolf did not notice the orca being at the water's edge close by as he sat down and begun fishing, pretty intent on catching something today.

Its hard to describe. Shirogane often falls asleep every time he tries to describe it.

Shirogane is noticeably less nervous then how he is all the time, and also would sway his tail (like a gentle, subtle tail wagging), when interacting with someone he likes. (Though he would fluster and get jittery for a bit when kissed or hugged by that said someone suddenly without his acknowledgement.)

He likes to show affection through physical contact a lot, usually by hugging. He would also make a lot of happy wolf noises.
