Hello Kitty Plus Size Collection Debuts

On July 14th a Hello Kitty fashion line for the plus size beauties of the world. Sanrio, the owner of Hello Kitty and fashion retailer Torrid are the individuals bringing this cute and fun fashion statement to another level. Get ready for dresses, skirts and more branded with the hello Kitty signature.

The VP of Brand Management for Sanrio had this to say:

“The debut Hello Kitty Torrid collection blends iconic Hello Kitty graphics with modern fashion styles that will be hit with Hello Kitty fans and Torrid customers.”

Who is the face of this collection? Of course with an awesome brand like Hello Kitty, there needs to be an awesome face helping to represent. #SayHerName: These are the 10 black women allegedly killed by an L.A. serial killer

Activists in Los Angeles have spent nearly a quarter century publicizing the names of the nine mostly poor black women and one 15-year-old girl allegedly killed by the so-called “Grim Sleeper.“ Lonnie David Franklin Jr. allegedly carried out the killings over 22 years — and may finally be brought to justice.

Update: On May 5, a jury in Los Angeles County, California, found Franklin guilty of murder in each of the 10 deaths.

Update: Lonnie David Franklin Jr. has been given the death sentence by an L.A. jury.

Police believe the full tally of Franklin’s crimes may never be determined — but estimates far exceed these ten murders.
