This one hits really close to home. My first memory of Joan was when I was 13 and saw her segments on QVC hawking some fancy eggs, all while laughing my ass off. She has been an inspiration to me throughout my life. Showing me that a woman can compete in a man's world, to not take shit from anyone, and how everything really is a joke. It was an honor to see her at the Brown this year with my best friend. She was the dirtiest, funniest, and most shocking comic I have ever seen live, and probably will see in a long time.
