Happy Christmas...

I was all excited for the holidays this year, and then my car died on Wednesday. It's been tough ever since. I am lucky enough to be able to walk to work, but it still put a damper on my holiday cheer. It's hard feeling like you can never get ahead. Hopefully next year will be better.

Major Case of the Mondays

I had such a relaxing weekend that it’s incredibly difficult to concentrate. All I  want to do is go home and finish The Invasion of the Tearling. In other news, I am still listening to Hamilton, but I think I’ve given up hope of seeing it in NYC. Living in the Midwest is the pits sometimes. I guess that’s it for depressing Monday updates.  - F

Ever since last weekend’s trip to Minneapolis, I have been day dreaming about traveling to/living in big cities. I think cities are beautiful and full of life. Give me cities over the country any day. All this week I have been pretending to plan a trip to NYC. I wish I could go. I wish I was one of those people who could just hop on a plane at a moment’s notice, but I guess paying rent and student loans is more important. Someday I will go!
