Also one little thing that makes me question a little is that Terence being the second in hand of the most feared force of the empire is wearing a basic armor just like anyone else. With just a mark on his chest.

Like, I thought that is something that is for a chapter captain, not THE SECOND IN HAND OF THE ARMY/PERSONAL GUARD OF THE PRINCE. I don't hate the design but I just wanted something..... more special.

Ok I just wanted Terence to have a bad ass armor. Also a helmet for Dion's armor would be nice, though he doesn't seems like the type who wear helmet. Please wear one my prince it is dangerous on the battlefield.

Yes I did laughed at the chad Terence and Hugo meme. I know the fandom likes to make fun of him but I was hoping a opputunist villian with tactical mind and absolute power in the first place. I didn't like the game treating him like a buffoon. It feels too on the nose and cheap.

For me the characterization in 16 is just...... too safe? I wasn't hoping for Emet Selch level but I was hoping something that would provide a strong counter argument to the belief of free will. Making us think instead of just telling us the correct answer is "free will".

The dungeon style where you need to kill a villian to proceed have wasted a lot of character potential in my opinion.

I hope Dion's characterization is not a coincidence. If it is then they are correct on not choosing to write the three prince route. Sometimes limitation makes miracle.

For me Dion and Terence are not the jealous type( ok Dion maybe jealous if other men compliment Terence and he is flustered) but:

If Dion get jealous( which is very little because my men Terence is a master at keeping distance from anyone but his prince) Terence could probably just apologies or be more active.

If Terence get jealous( which is very little because my men Terence can always control his emotion, plus Dion has proved himself) Dion would probably not notice it, but he could feel it eventually. Terence just don't seems like the type who bother to tell his lover what he's feeling. Which is absolutely frustrating.

My Mind: you know if Terence got the wrong lesson from ingame, that he focuses on his weakness in power to protect anyone( almost losing his prince/letting his prince go alone to origin), that he chases power without anything else, pushing Kihel aside to safety, trading his memories and humanity in order to continue his prince's glory, ended up being a monster would be pretty interesting.

I don't know how to let this man have a character arc besides making him realize his loyalty is harming himself or he even double down, eventually turning into a hot villain. Help.

Actually both of them are pretty suited as villain, but for me the best of Dion's character is exactly his persistent on his way to goodness despite all, if you strip that away that would make his character loose his charm. Also it would nice if you can glimpse just a little of inhuman part through his righteousness.

While I love the part that makes Dion human, I also love the part that makes Dion inhuman as a dominant. ( ok everyone can tell my favorite Primarch is Sanguinius now)

About Terence, the most fucked up thing in my head is that he would never show his vulnerable side infront of the prince, as he is the mental pillar of Dion.

I just, can't even think about Terence breaking down infront of Dion( and hell I eat bottom Terence)

I like the idea of Terence just deceiving himself until he actually break, which won't be pretty. When Dion breaks it was suppression, leading to explosion. I think for Terence it's like tidal wave that chips off his rock soild heart bit by bit, until no one remember it existed.

When he was breaking up with his prince, his lover betraying him, he still did the hardest attempt to smile is just....... so goddamning heart breaking.

Non-human mentality Terence is delicious for sure, but I think actually normal human with a decent heart Terence would be nice too.( Yeah I know normal people won't date a nuclear weapon)

In ff14 thordan is manipulating the dragons but in 16 the king of knight and the king of dragon are on the same team, that would be so cool ( it would be too op though)
