 “Orihime Inoue?” He had never heard a name like that one. It was different from the ones from Amestris, making the boy wonder where she was from. “What does your name mean?” His name meant ‘ready for battle’, but it wasn’t as uncommon as Orihime. He supposed she belonged to Drachma or another neighbor country –if she did, was she a Drachma spy? It didn’t seem like, though he supposed a spy should be able to meddle well.

“Where are you from?” Finally questioned the blond, showing interest.  He wasn’t used to see tourists every day, therefore the teenager as quite interested in her country, her culture, and in her.

She stopped to think about the question. Nobody had ever asked the meaning of her name, sometimes not even ask. "Orihime is the name of a star. She was a weaver princess who was doomed to remain separated from her prince. She could see him only once a year. Where I come from, in Japan, there is an annual festival celebrating the reunion of the stars, Hokiboshi and Orihime. It's a big festival, with food and music. It's called Tanabata." Her voice was filled with a strong feeling, almost poetic, musical.

"And you... Alphonse-kun? What does your name mean?" She was looking at the boy's eyes as he was looking at her. She was interested, concerned about his appearance and curious about him.

The healer sat on a nearby bench and indicated the place beside her. "You can sit here if you want."

 The blond glanced at the girl really quickly – hair coloured the same way oranges were, beautiful physical features. Alphonse didn’t believe she would actually speak to him, seeing as he was so thin, at a terrible physical condition at the given moment.

“Alphonse, Alphonse Elric. How about you, miss?” He answered in a friendly voice tone, as politely as she had asked.

She studied more carefully the face of the boy. At first glance he seemed just a little thin, but she soon realized that he was really malnourished. She wondered what exactly Alphonse did to be in that state. 

Quickly turned her attention to his question and to the good manners, of which she couldn't in no way forget.

"My name is Orihime", She said, remembering he was from another country and probably doesn't knew that in Japan they use the last name first, "Orihime Inoue."

It was good that she had become so attentive for details!

“Kara… What?” what strange name, and what a strange girl, wearing those clothes so different… Where was he now? How would get out of there? Elliot was silent for a few seconds, paralyzed with his own thoughts. “Sorry, uh- What country is this?” asked, a little embarrassed about not having the slightest idea where he was.

"It's Japan." She said promptly. "Excuse me, but... Who are you?" As him, she was confused. For her, he was a stranger as she was for him. And despite being friendly, she didn't like being at a disadvantage.
