Page 1: In Jax's mindscape, lit by a single pink lamppost, Jax and Pomni lie back. "Again?" Jax says. "Why do you keep coming back?"

Pomni's eyes are closed, and Jax's arm covers his face. "There's nothing for you here. You have an actual life. People that care about you. The world is literally at your fingertips. Just move on. Forget about me-"

Pomni cuts him off. "You know me better than that."

Jax grimaces, raising his arm. "Tch."

Page 2:

He stretches out his hand, catching the light. "How do you know that you're not just talking to a ghost - some weird echo of whoever I was - that this whole thing isn't just something you've dreamed up?"

"Well, I have those dreams already," Pomni says. There's a flash of a terrified Jax staring her down. "And they're not nearly as nice."

Page 3:

"This is real," she says, turning to look at Jax. "I know it is."

She extends a hand to Jax, sending ripples through the space. "Because I know you."

Jax gives her pained look as he considers her, then shrugs it off. “Ha!” he chokes out, hiding his face with a shaky smile. “God, Pomni.”

Page 4:

He reaches for her hand. "One of these days you're gonna-

"Wake up." Pomni's hand clenches around nothing. On the floor of the pillow fort, she quietly looks on as Jax's abstraction sleeps next to her.

Also sorry to hear that the finale kinda ruined your love for the show too :(. Been there before (I've been a FNAF fan for a good majority of my life so I've seen MANY of it's lows). While I hope it doesn't dissuade you from drawing fanart for it (srsly your tadc art has been one of my faves of this fandom for like. The longest time even before I started using Tumblr), it's completely understandable and I hope your followers understand

only time I'll stop drawing fanart is when I naturally acquire new interests, but these characters still mean a lot to me and they will for a while

the show def needed more than 9 episodes to really flesh out more and maybe even fix the issues that it had. Not asking for multiple seasons (it was never meant to be that kind of show), but i think ,maybe even animated shorts inbetween episodes would have done wonders for its pacing and characters. im one of the people who were satisfied by the finale, but i can absolutely recognize the show overall could have used more work in some areas.

Absolutely, I'm not demanding more seasons or anything like that either but realistically... even 13-15 episodes in total would've helped it a lot, especially in fleshing out the other characters more properly cause... even Pomni doesn't feel all that developed compared to Jax in the end

I still love the show and feel grateful that it was allowed to exist and grow to the scale it did in the first place, especially in the current uncertain era of art and animation, but it obviously doesn't exempt it from criticism either and the more you think about it the more flaws you uncover

It may not matter that much to the average casual viewer, but unfortunately I'm far from that
