Columbia smiled and waved to them. As soon as they were out of sight her smile slowly faded, she sighed and entered Misha’s room, Misha was still asleep when Columbia sat down in a chair next to her bed. She sat there for only a little while before she realised that Lucifer would most likely also go for Chirii, Columbia hurried out of the room (quietly though so she wouldnt wake up Misha) in hopes of trying to catch up to them. Luck was on her side as she managed to stop them right before they left “Chirii!” she ran up to her “Chirii, wait up, I just wanted to warn you before you go. Lucifer will likely come for you when he realises that you arent dead, I just wanted to say that you shouldnt hesitate to kill him if he’s about to attack you” Columbia hugged Chirii tightly “just stay safe, okay?” Columbia smiled weakly as she let Chirii go “okay I’m going to let you guys leave now… for real this time” She then went serious for a bit “and you should really check your house for a Kecleon”

Chirii nodded. "I expect as much from a low-life like him. But I promised Misha I wouldn't kill him....but not that I wouldn't put him an inch from it." She nodded confidently to try to reassure Columbia that she would be okay. "Not to mention she has me and the rest of Kory's team keeping an eye out for her," Alonso added.

Kory looked back to see Chirii and Alonso still inside. She whistled loudly to get their attention. They glanced towards her then looked back to Columbia. "We really got to go. But we will make sure to check about that kec, promise!" Chirii grinned, hurrying out with Alonso to catch up to thir trainer.

Chirii grinned and gave her a thumbs up. “We’re friends now. It’s what we do.” Alonso nodded in agreement. “I hope we might be able to do something together one day, to keep Misha in spirits.” He nodded to Kory as he continued. “You are alway welcomed to call Kory’s PokeDex anytime you need us.”

Kory gave her a slight squeeze before letting go. “I’ll be back to visit you guys and check on Misha when I can, okay?” She turned to her two Pokemon, both of whom looked reluctant to leave but Kory knew they couldn’t stay for too much longer. They had a lot of financial things to do, not to mention their training, and she could only stay so long…

Columbia smiled “I’d like that and I’m sure Misha would too” she nodded to Kory, she hoped that it would be soon though. Columbia knew that they had to leave soon but she could also see that they were kinda reluctant to do so, Columbia grinned and motioned with her hands for them to leave “its okay for you leave, you know. Dont worry I’m going to stay right here with her”

They smiled back at her, though they still were a little worried. Despite their concern, Chirii and Alonso followed Kory down the hall towards the waiting room to make sure they weren't leaving anything before they left, leaving Columbia in front of Misha's door.

As they walked, Alonso noticed Chirii looked as if she was deep in thought."Worried about Misha, hun?" She looked up to see his gentle smile, watching her closely to see how she was feeling. Chirii glanced away, sighing. "Yeah..." <i>But for different reasons...</i>

He chose not to press future and continued to walk with her in silence. She silently thanked him for it. Both of them knew that something serious was on her mind, but he wasn't going to make her tell him if she didn't want to.

Kory smiled wider as Misha leaned against her hand. She looked as if she was a little kid again, with how happy she looked. Her eyes started to shine as if they were starting to try to cry, but she pushed them back so she wouldn’t do it in front of Misha.

Alonso enjoyed watching Misha take comfort with Kory’s touch. The look she had on her face was sweet.

Chirii nodded confidently, watching Misha interact with Kory as they spoke softly. “I know. To be honest, I wouldn’t have it any other way. See how she looks?” she whispered back. “And, if you ever need us again, don’t hesitate to ask, okay?”

It didnt take long for Misha to fall asleep, that hadnt been her plan but she just couldnt stay awake any longer. Her relaxed breathing and the slight rise and fall of her sides made it clear that she was asleep.

Columbia walked over to her and pulled the covers over her “poor thing, she’s had real hard couple of days, she must be exhausted” Columbia smiled and kissed Misha on the forehead “but she’s safe now” she turned to the others “we should give her some quiet time, but dont worry, I’ll stay here with her” Columbia walked out of the room, she was going to thank them all there so they wouldnt wake up Misha, she really needed to get some sleep

Kory slipped her hand out from under Misha's cheek as carefully and gently as she could so as to not disturb her, then rose and followed Columbia and Chirii out of the room. Alonso lingered for a few moments, watching Misha sleep. The poor girl. He couldn't stand the idea of her being so scared. He wished there was something more they could do, but for now, they just had to wait until she healed. He followed the others out of the room, with Chirii closing the door silently behind him.

“Misha…” Kory said softly, a relieved grin on her face. She approached the opposite side of the hospital bed, leaving Chirii alone at the other. She held a hand out and rubbed her cheek tenderly, and an affection usually reserved for her own Pokemon shone through her eyes. If Misha flinched at her touch she would hesitate to try rubbing again until Misha looked okay with it.

“Feeling a little better, sweetie?” she asked.

"We were worried about how you were doing," Alonso added, still at a distance to give her room. "It’s a relief to see you awake."

Misha of course flinched when Kory touched her first but soon she found herself leaning into her hand. Misha closed her eyes, It was nice to feel like a human cared about her. She smiled a weakly, Kory kinda reminded her of her own old trainer, her real trainer “D-dont worry ab-about me, I-I’m fine” Misha closed her eyes again and enjoyed letting Kory pet her, as long as she didnt touch her burned side.

Columbia stood up and walked over to Chirii and whispered to her “you know she’s very happy that you’re here” she smiled “she wont say it because she thinks you want to be somewhere else, but she really is happy” Columbia put her hand around her “and I’m also happy that you’re here”

Columbia stood in the doorway and watched Alonos try to wake Kory up. When it didnt seem to work, she walked up to her and poked her “Ms. Kory”

Chirii nodded, not quite convinced, but she thought it would be better than showing her own worry. She kept her eyes on Misha just the same, hoping to see her relax while they waited.

Kory stirred a little, her mind not recognizing the voice at first. Her eyes open gradually until she recognizes the face that came into view. “…..Columbia…?” She sat up slowly, still obviously sleepy from their long night. She looked around the room, not seeing Chirii there at all. “….Is Misha awake?” she asked softly. “Yes!” Alonso replied. “We came so that you could see her too.” She smiled weakly. “Thanks….”

After lying still for a little while, Misha closed her eyes, it was getting hard keeping them open “C-Chirii” She slowly opened her eyes and turned to her “t-thanks for be-being h-here. I-I know t-th-there are other p-places that y-you w-would ra-rather want to b-be but it m-means a lot t-to m-me that y-you’re h-here” she closed her eyes again. She was trying to stay awake until Kory had at least said hi but it was getting harder.

Columbia smiled “come on, we dont want to keep her waiting”

Chirii shook her head. "There is no place I'd rather be than supporting my friend," she reassured her.She was beginning to notice that Misha was having a hard time staying conscious. She could only guess that Misha might be fighting rest for their sake. She hoped Columbia would arrive soon with Kory and Alonso so that they could let her get her sleep.

No sooner did she think that did she hear a light knock on the door. Kory and ALonso had followed Columbia to the room Misha was being held in. Out of habit, she had knocked and she decided to wait for a moment to hear an ok from inside before she entered with Alonso at a distnace behind her so as not to crowd the room.

Mordecai gave a small smile. “Yeah,” he looked pained, “I do too.”

Honestly though, the way things were turning out….and the timing, of all things…..it didn’t look like the Gengar, his trainer, or his teammates were getting out of the mess they were in any time soon. Cistophine blinked. “Nice things? About this loaf?” She cracked a wry smile and gave the Gengar a teasing tousle of the tuft of fur on his head. Mordecai glared over at her, slicking his fur back. “Hush, you.”

Chirii glanced over her shoulder to see Misha's nervous and embarrassed stare. She smiled warmly and nodded. "Okay then! If you say so." She turned back to the machamp, who had noticed when Misha got Chirii's attention rather than answering her. "Could we get another smoothie? Same flavor please,"

She smiled again. "Why certainly!"  Within a moment, she had the other smoothie ready. Chirii used her free hand to go ahead and pay for the drinks using some cash Kory gave her for it. Once that was done, she grabbed the second smoothie and move it next to the water pitchers on her tray. "We're all set now, then!"

Columbia entered the room “I just thought that we should let Alonso and Kory say hi to Misha, I’m sure she is very tired and would like to rest”

Misha slightly shook her head “i-its a-alright, I-I dont m-mind” even though she tried to hide it she still sounded tired. She had already used up all her strength for today but she didnt want to seem like she didnt care

Columbia smiled, she knew that Misha was tired and she was pretty sure that Chirii heard it too “its okay Misha, Alonso and Kory are just going to say hi and then we’ll let you rest up” Columbia went back outside to go them, leaving Chirii and Misha alone for a bit. She was going to leave waking Kory up to Alonso, if she was anything like Riff Raff then she didnt want to be the one waking her

Chirii turned back to Misha as Columbia left, hoping that Misha could see the concern on her face. "If you are tired, we can come back another day. We won't mind," she said softly. "Just work on getting better, okay? We can do something once you can leave."

Meanwhile Alonso nudged Kory gently, but found waking her was harder than it looked. Usually, someone else was the one waking her up, not him. He didn't feel like being rough with her this time.

Alonso’s smile grew. “Well, well, it appears that I now have my personal harem of helpers! Come follow me ladies and step lively! A fair few of these children might attempt to whisk you away with fairy floss and banshee screams.”

It had not been much of an exaggeration. There were really a small number of particularly young kids who seemed to be making it their goal to try to out-brat the others. Sensitive-eared Pokemon such as himself would find them more than a little annoying, but as distasteful as it was, Alonso had to restrain himself from trying to discipline the badly -dressed munchkins himself.

He led them to the part of the concession stand more suitable for Pokemon. Taking orders there was a very cheerful female machamp wearing a shirt and a hat that had the skating rink’s company logo. “Hello! What would you like today?” she asked the group.  He flashed her a kind smile. “If you would be so kind, I’d like to order three pitchers of water and….” He paused, glancing back at the girls. “I am sorry! We never got what you would like to drink. Any preferences?”

"We have soda, sweet and unsweetened tea, Icees, smoothies, and milkshakes." the counter machamp added, leaning over to see the girls more clearly.

Alonso really wasn’t kidding about those kids, they were screaming so much that it actually hurt. Misha walked the closest to Chirii, keeping her burned side behind her so people wouldn’t stare. She didn’t walk as close to her as she would with Columbia or Mordecai. Misha stayed close enough to hide her scars but far enough so she wouldn’t bother Chirii.

After Alonso and the machamp had asked them what they wanted, Misha started feeling a bit nervous “u-uhm… I-I’ll just h-have s-smoothie” she felt them all starting at her “if-if thats al-alright…” Misha wasn’t very good at speaking with strangers, her mind would always jump to the worst case scenario. Misha knew that Columbia would want one too but she felt like she had already asked for way to much. So she did what she was good at and kept quiet.

Seeing as only she and Mordecai were left (and Kory but she doesn’t understand them) Columbia sat down. She patted the seat next to her “So, hows Misha doing? I hope she hasn’t been much trouble. She sure looks better”

Mordecai sat down next to Colombia, and Cistophine leaned against the table, not wanting anything to drink quite yet.

"Um, she’s doing better. She was nervous at first, but she’s gotten along with everyone so far." The Gengar gave Cistophine a look to verify his statement, and when she nodded, he continued. "The only thing that bothers me is the fact that she’s……not going to be able to stay a whole lot longer. It’s….difficult to explain. Our trainer…you may have heard of him, he’s the Lochesh Magician. Anyways, he’s gotten involved in some…..not safe things that could result in Misha getting hurt. I’m trying to keep it quiet so she doesn’t get upset, but I plan on telling her in a few days."

Cistophine nodded. “Long story short, if Lucifer doesn’t get her, the other Pokemon who are coming our way will.”

Mordecai glared at her. “Do you have to put it so bluntly?”

Cistophine shrugged. “You would’ve beaten around the bush.”

Mordecai huffed. “I just wish we hadn’t gotten involved in all of this…..it’s…it’s not fair.”

"Sure!" the machamp smiled. "What flavor? We have strawberry, oran blast, mango-mago pineapple, razzleberry, and pecha berry twist."

As she waited on Misha's flavor, her two lower arms worked on finding pitchers for their waters. and filling them with ice water. Her fingers flew with practiced expertise. Soon enough, there were three pitchers of water that Chirii  gladly took hold of. She made sure to keep it far enough from her headflame so that it would still be ice water by the time they returned.

She glanced at Misha as she stood next to her. It was easy to see she was nervous, which also explained why she was so close to her, She tried a gentle smile, hoping that Misha would remember that she was safe as long as they were there. With so many people that love her, what could happen?

Columbia waited for them to be done in there, she wanted to talk to Misha again but she knew that they need their time. Columbia looked up at the clock “they’ve been in there for some time. I hope Misha isnt making Chirii feel bad by blaming everything on herself” She turned to Alonos “I’m going to go check on them”

After Chirii helped her back into bed, Misha had realised what happened “I-I’m s-sorry… I-I wa-was j-just trying to m-make y-you fe-feel b-be-better” her eyes were barely open, Misha was in such a bad shape that she had used up all her strength for that hug. Her eyes opened a bit more and her ears perked up when she heard a knock on the door.

Columbia peaked in through the door “you girl alright in there?”

Chirii smiled softly as she pilled the covers back over Misha's body. "It's okay. You did make me happy." She turned to see Columbia peek in. She very nearly missed her enter completely, It was only until Misha's gaze turned towards the door that Misha looked up.

"Oh, yes! We're doing okay, I think. Did you want to speak to Misha alone again?"

Chirii really didn't want to leave Misha with a misunderstanding. She didn't want Misha to think she was a burden to her. There was so much she wanted to say to try to comfort her. She didn't want to go. But, it looked like her time was up.

Misha snapped out of her depressive state when she saw how bad Chirii felt. She shook her head to try and get the bad thoughts out of her head. Misha didnt want Chirii to feel bad. She slowly got out of the bed (it was still painful for her to sit up so that took some effort) her feet felt numb and she felt worse then horrible standing up. Misha used all her strenght to walk to Chirii. She was just going to give her a hug but she was in worse shape then she thought, when she had made it to Chirii, her legs were about to give under but Misha managed to kneel down next to Chirii and give her a hug

"d-dont wo-worry its n-not your fault, y-you dont ne-need t-to m-ma-make anything u-up to m-me. I-I’m just a l-little s-scared, thats a-all" of course Misha was a bit more then just a little scared, but she didnt want Chirii to know that (even though she did) Misha hated seeing others sad and in pain. She hugged her tightly to hopefully cheer her up, even though the pain was hurting her the thought that she had made Chirii sad, hurt her even more.

Misha’s arms were starting to shake a bit while she was still hugging Chirii. Slowly her hug was becoming more and more weak until Misha fell on Chirii, Misha was so light that her weight wasnt enough to even push Chirii. Misha hadnt fainted but she was clearly to dazed to know what just happened

Her eyes widened as soon as Misha touched the floor. Misha obviously looked pained, despite her efforts to hide it. And now, out of the blue, Misha was hugging her. That was perhaps even more frightning, ot to mention confusng. Chirii thought Misha wouldn't want to be too close to her since she was afraid of the headflame on Chirii's head. But, Misha hugged her. She still hugged her.

As she grew weaker, Chirii managed to snap out of her shock. She held Misha to try to steady her. She stood, being carefuly with Misha as she did so. Then, she carefully picked Misha up to help her back into the bed. It was rather easy, since Misha was so light. It was almost as if she was carrying no one at all.

Mordecai’s answer not only made Misha blush and smile, it also made her give him a big hug. After letting Mordecai go form the hug she whispered into his so the others wouldn’t hear “do you really mean it? does that mean… we’re a couple?”

After sitting in the room alone waiting for the others to return, Columbia decided to get up to see what was going on. Columbia smiled when she saw that Mordecai and Misha were finally here… and they brought someone else with them, but that didn’t matter right now “Hey Misha” Columbia waved with a big smile, both happy to see how much better she looked and just to see her.

Misha turned from Mordecai (even though she didn’t want to) “Columbia” Misha hugged Columbia with a huge smile, this day was turning out amazing in Misha’s mind

When they finally let go of each other, Columbia walked up to Cistophine “Hey, my names Columbia, whats your?” she put out her hand with a friendly smile

Misha heard Alonso ask Chirii to get everybody’s order because he couldn’t carry it, Misha walked up to Chirii “n-need any help?”
