So I might try to get over my crippling video game addiction and increasingly suicidal depression for long enough to reply to stuff on my blogs? idk, I still feel like I’m slipping and don’t have too long before something bad happens though, so maybe not. I guess don’t be surprised if I completely disappear on the off chance that this doesn’t get better.
Hey, even if you lose interest in this Blog or wanna close it, don't close it, okay? Leave it as an Archive. I'm just saying this because I've seen Blogs with some really good stuff on them that are now practically lost to the sands of time because people deleted them. So, yeah, I don't want your stuff to end up like that.

………
Did I say I was going to delete this blog? I honestly don’t remember saying or implying that at any point. The closest thing I said in recent memory is that I’ll be RPing here when I stop trying to die, but depression’s still a bitch and I’ve been working a lot over the past few days, so I couldn’t really do anything on my blogs recently.
and besides, the only times I ever delete is when shit that i’m ashamed of happens on a particular blog, but nothing like that has happened recently
❝It’s been... rather quiet recently; far more so than usual. Knowing my luck, something’s going to go disturb that right about now, isn’t it?❞
Normally the lack of excitement and activity would be something he’d feel deeply thankful for, but he couldn’t help but see it like the calm before a terrible storm. It was too perfect, too good to last for any longer, and he was already preparing to shoot down whatever stumbled by to trouble him.
Curious question for the mun: Have they played Mother Cognitive Dissonance?
{{OOC}}
Yes, but I don’t know if I ever got past the part where you get Col. Saturn before my attention deficit made me completely forget that I was trying to beat the damn thing. This is sadly something that’s happened with a lot of games I’ve tried to play, even if they’re good ones like this. OTL

If I’m ever not here, I’m probably on my F.ullmetal Alchemist blog here or my T.ouhou Project blog here.
❝There seem to be a lot of humans following me here, so allow me a moment to learn the proper earth phrases needed to express my thoughts for you all.❞
A few seconds passed as he flipped through the unmarked book in his possession, finding the words he was looking for so he could tell everyone what he wanted them to do for him.
❝Let’s see... Go die in a fire, get out of my sight, be gone with you, fuck off and die, I hope you disappear and never return...❞
And he would continue to rattle off toxic words of a similar caliber until either every human around him went away, or he’s forced to get another book.
Haven’t really done one of these in a while and I’m not sure how alive the fandom is, but it’s worth a shot.
Would you kindly like/reblog if you’re a Mother/E.arthbound RPer that’s interested in interacting with a new G.iegue/G.iygas? My dash is quiet and I need more people for this war-starting alien to vent his anger at.

Self knowledge questionnaire for Giegue:

Below the surface everyone is pretty complicated. Based on your answers, we think the following three traits are important strands in your personality:
RATIONALITY
You like clarity and intelligent simplicity and you get frustrated at messy thinking. This can make you seem unreasonably pushy to some, but it is actually a virtue: you are motivated by a horror at pointless effort and a longing for precision and insight into how things and people work. Your ability to synthesise and bring order is essential in producing thinking which is truly helpful.
MISANTHROPY
You have seen the darker side of human nature, even in daily life. When you look beneath the surface everyone is pretty messed up; there’s more selfishness circulating that others admit. You are never surprised by the stupidity of others, even though it annoys you. Your streak of misanthropy is, in fact, a requirement of remaining sane. You’ve wisely come to terms with your need to sometimes confidently reject people.
RESILIENCE
You have a tendency, after a setback, to turn your emotions towards restriving. What attracts you is the idea of wiping out a humiliation by resumed action – overcoming weakness, repressing your fear. Because part of your motive is pride, you can sometimes be unwilling to admit weakness or to receive aid. But at heart, tour insistence on coming back and never folding has taught you a valuable pessimism: you know that important journeys are never easy.
By some wonderful miracle, Giegue was able to fall into slumber under the shade of a towering tree. He was completely motionless as he slept, excepting the slow rising and falling of his chest as he breathes and the occasional twitch of his tail. As long as nothing disturbed him, the world would be safe from this malicious alien’s wrath.

When he opened
his eyes, he quickly realized that he had elicited a pained reaction from the alien keeping him company. Lucas’s head canted to one side. He got onto his hands & knees, scooting himself closer to him, curiosity laced into his gaze.
Then he began to explain himself. He said he could relate, & something in his voice changed as he admitted it. He apologized for the attempt to chase him away from the cliffside. He mentioned a grudge, & Lucas had to wonder what it was about, but he, too, felt his heartstrings pulled on by his company on this familiar cliff.
❝ Mm, ❞ he hummed, his voice oddly gentle for someone who had almost been chased away mere moments ago. ❝ It’s okay. I…I’m real sorry about all that. I promise, I won’t do anythin’ to hurt you, or anythin’ like what the humans you might’ve met did. Or…I’ll try my hardest not to. ❞
He didn’t know what the other had faced before, so he couldn’t promise. But he could offer his shoulder to this lonely, bitter soul.
❝ …My name’s Lucas, ❞ he tried, after a brief pause. ❝ What about yours? Might make you feel better if you talked about it. Your mom, I mean. ❞
Talking was therapeutic for Lucas in a way that it didn’t seem to be for the other boys his age ( or not outwardly so, at least ). Talking was his way of keeping the happy memories of his mother alive, & it worked for him, so perhaps it’d work for this creature. Perhaps — however much of a stretch it may have been — Lucas might be able to find a friend that stood on this common ground with him.
Sadness was something that Giegue tried to destroy in himself long ago, and to see that his efforts failed because of a human child of all things was angering to him. He hated how loosing Maria still haunted him, he hated how easily that remorse could compromise him, he hated how he had no one to blame for this all but himself....
Whatever pain he was feeling before was quickly masked by the wrath that consumes him, refusing to let his signs of weakness show any longer. The monster’s maw opened up into a menacing smirk lined with razor sharp teeth, laughing at the human for thinking anything he could do would fix what was wrong with him.
❝You, hurting me? How adorable... If you hadn’t exploited that petty weakness of mine, your body would have been burnt to cinders just for having the audacity to bother me.❞
Clawed fingertips idly drummed against his side, with crackles of psychokinetic energy erupting from them with every impact they made. Whatever feelings of empathy he had for Lucas or admiration for his attempts at befriending him were all irrelevant for as long as he let that anger consume him. He would never let himself get close to a human again, not after all the times they’ve hurt him, and he wanted to make sure that Lucas was fully aware of that.
❝There’s no point in talking about the two that raised me, it’s not as if it can raise them from their graves. All you need to know about that grudge is that a human stole the secret of PSI, I had the responsibility of killing off all traces of it on earth, and I ordered two wars against humanity with the intent of making them all go extinct. I would gladly cause a third one if I had the resources to do so, for no other purpose than to make them suffer...❞
An almost sickening chuckle could be heard from the alien not long after mentioning the possibility of another war, taking great pleasure in the thought of slaying every last member of the species that made his life miserable.
But his sadistic grin struggled to keep its form, and the cruelty in his voice was slowly dwindling, becoming less and less stable with only his old, tired vengeance motivating him. He had no reason to let his anger out on Lucas like this, and Giegue hasn’t struck him yet because he was still aware of that, but old habits that die so hard...
❝If you must know, my name is Giegue, although your kind called me Giygas during the second war. You’re desire to mend my wounds is precious, but any further attempts would be nothing short of pointless.❞
Kirby gave another small squeak as the other shook his hand. The others touch felt odd… But he didn’t know why. Maybe it was the texture of the others skin, or the odd cold feeling it gave him. Giegue..? What an interesting name. It kinda rolled off of the tongue in a weird way. He gave a small, awkward laugh at his last comment, though.
“Ah, well I’m glad you think it is, because… Well, I gotta defend it all of the time, poy. I recently had to deal with a robotic invasion, and that’s just scratching the surface, poy… I’ve dealt with tyrants, rouge aliens, demons… You name it. I think the reason why a lot of people want Popstar is because it’s so peaceful, yet it has a lot of resources, that it seems defenceless.”
❝I see. You’ve done a marvelous job keeping your home and people safe, Kirby.❞
Coming from a race of aliens with unmatched psychic abilities has many merits to it, one of them a quick mind reading to confirm that the other wasn’t lying about his claims. Honestly, he was impressed that this tiny creature was able to fight off against so many threats and come out on top, making him somewhat curious to how he pulls it off (or who would be stupid enough to attack Popstar after the first ten or so invaders fell).
But it would be rude to dig around in his mind to uncover his abilities, and asking directly might not be much better if it turns out that he prefers to keep them a secret, so the pale alien decided it would be best to let that curiosity die for now. More importantly than that, Giegue thought it would be wise to assure the other that he had no plans of attacking Kirby’s homeplanet, attempting to be as comforting as his dry, almost condescending voice would allow.
❝I assure you that I have no interest in ordering an invasion on this planet, only visiting for a while if it isn’t a bother to you. Believe me when I say that I’d be far happier keeping the peace here as opposed to disrupting it.❞
Kirby curiously watched the other alien. Ah… They kinda looked like a large, alien cat. He watched as the other lay on his chest and floated over him a bit. He tilted his head as he squeaked at the others question.
“Oh, Hiii! I’m Kirby, poyo. What’s your name?”
He put out a small hand for a handshake, and smiled warmly at the other.
Clawed digits reached out to the other, gently wrapping around and shaking his hand to complete the ritual. Gestures such as these weren’t commonly practiced by Giegue, but he would gladly return them if it would be polite to do so.
❝My name is Giegue. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Kirby.❞
He let out a quick yawn not long after sharing his name, not realizing that he was at all drowsy until now. The discomfort Earth provided for him made it effortless to stay awake for days on end, but Popstar has proven to be one of the most serene places he’s traveled to in some time, making it rather easy for him to unwind.
❝This planet is such a relaxing place; whoever keeps the peace here does a suburb job.❞
@puffywarrior ❤’d
His hateful nature is something that will never truly disappear, but it’s so much easier for him to curb it around those he didn’t hold a grudge against, and this pink stranger would be no exception to that. In an effort to not tower over the far smaller alien, Giegue lowered himself far enough to be at eye-level with the other, lying on his chest and floating only inches above the ground.
He knew not where this one came from or what his intentions were, but he couldn’t see anything horrible come from one this innocent-looking.
❝Hello there, little one. May I ask what your name is?❞
◣ ❀ ✿ ❀ ◥ ;
Despite the acidity
in the strange entity’s reply & the edge to his gaze, a smile painted itself across Lucas’s lips, grateful for his kindness, however grudging. He moved closer, sitting cross-legged on the ground before freshly planted sunflowers that danced in the wind around a familiar stone, engraved with a familiar name that cast a familiar shadow over him when he got to the ground.
Then the creature asked a question, to which Lucas’s first reply was a shift in his smile, the acquisition of some soft sadness that mingled with the gratitude in it before.
❝ Well, y’see…she’s already here. ❞ In watching him, one might believe he was speaking to the grave & not to the presence beside it. He closed his eyes & swallowed hard. ❝ Reason I say I come out here a lot’s ‘cause my mom’s right here. Hinawa Cantrell. Daughter of Alec, wife of Flint, mother of Lucas & Claus…. ❞ He was reciting it, eyes closed & all.
❝ Didn’t mean t’ go on like that. I’m sorry. This is just an important place for me. ❞
Those gleaming red eyes remained ever watchful of every movement the human made, the alien creature still considering retracting the treaty he made mere seconds ago. He had no investment in the human or even a justifiable reason to let him live, and ten different ways of disposing of the pest were already plotted in his calculating mind before he heard his reply.
At first, he just looked on in intrigue when he heard that the other human was already with them, only to take on a far different expression when he learnt what the other meant by that. The edges of his muzzle briefly pulled back to a pained grimace the millisecond he heard that the kid was just visiting his dead mother, and his head lowered in disgrace when he realized what he did when he first meet him.
He almost turned this child away from his mother’s grave...
❝No... You’re alright. I’d be lying if I said I couldn’t relate...❞
His response to the other’s recital was hushed and muddled, but the alien still made an attempt to be comforting nonetheless (or at least as much so as his cold heart would allow). Few emotional pleas could get a response from him other than mockery, but he knew what it was like to lose the one that raised him, that played with him and sung him lullabies when he had no one else to look after him.
More than that though, he knew the feeling of emptiness and longing that grips at the soul when that person is finally taken away, and those feelings of nostalgia and regret rendered him incapable of staying mad at the human any longer. All he could do now is accept that he was trapped in a moment of empathy, and do his best to reconcile with him to avoid making the other feel anymore pain.
❝......My apologies for my crudeness. I’ve held a grudge against your species for over a century now, but I can set it aside for now given the circumstances...❞
