She was wrinkling her nose in distaste, the bloody gash on her knee was not a pretty sight, nor was the bloodstained and torn clothes in which it had dirtied. She groaned inwardly, wishing that she could cease the clumsiness which seemed to follow her. Naeun checked her phone, awaiting the reply that she desired and soon enough, the gadget made a noise, informing her that she’d gotten a message. She scanned over it briefly, pursing her lips as she did, before writing a reply back to the sender. [ text ] Not too much. It looks worse than it is, but it hurts really badly. ㅜㅜ

    When her phone suddenly jingled informing her that she had received a message, she scanned the message briefly before hurriedly typed a reply in response.

    Letting out a sigh of relief after typing, she closed her phone. Hopping off the chair she was sitting in, whilst looking for the first-aid kit she had stored in her closet.

The evening is lackluster with his shortage of energy and the inability to practice for the day due to his previous ankle injury, and so he has found haven in the corner of the practice room, whilst the others continue to go over some choreography as he watches from afar. Of course, the text message he had received had stolen his attention, and as he blinks down at the words on the screen, he’s soon relieved to earn confirmation that those affectionate words weren’t aimed towards him, though they had briefly caused the tips of his ears to flush red.

He’s only teasing her, of course, as he tends to do, and while he’s tempted to leave his messing around at that, he soon continues on with mischief sparkling within his irises, glad that the other members are too busy to pay him any attention.

  Hearing her phone go off brought anticipation that the sender didn’t want to ignore her. When she had found out who had sent the previous message Krystal couldn’t believe what she had done. Sending such an affection message by mistake, to someone she had been close with made her dread reading his reply. Grabbing her phone, she let out a breath, opening it she scanned over the contents briefly—knowing he was teasing her in his response. She let out a small chuckle, low enough so nobody could hear before quickly typing away on her keys.

   After sending her reply she thought back to the photoshoot—it had been quite a while since they had contacted each other and individual activities gave little chance’s for her to meet up with label mates. So it had been awkward on set; or so Krystal thought. They were both best friends and despite the awkward atmosphere, she did enjoy joking around with them on set. With that in mind, she began typing once more on her keys playfully.

  despite the roaring cheers from the crowd, tiffany couldn’t help but feel a sense of emptiness after noticing the missing presence onstage. she walked hand in hand with a couple of her labelmates, smiling for the fans as she sang along to their final song, but she couldn’t take her mind off the girl who was nowhere to be found. after all that’d happened in the past year, tiffany found herself afraid of the future and what it holds. two years ago, she never would have thought this was how things would have played out, but now that it was reality, she was desperately wished to cling to the past despite, simultaneously, wanting to run as far away from the memories as possible. she could only imagine what the younger girl was feeling and how much more difficult the situation must have been for her.

  sneaking offstage a bit earlier than the rest, tiffany slips her way past the staff to reach her phone. she couldn’t sit back and let the girl hurt by herself; she couldn’t let the girl feel alone. tiffany refused to be a person who abandoned her morals when inconvenient. and at this point, she didn’t care what tomorrow’s news articles said about her early departure as long as she was able to reach soojung tonight.

  she was afraid of the response she awaited. and after what felt like a lifetime (but was just a minute), she placed her phone back down to return to the stage for the final chorus until her phone sounded against the table, alerting her of a new message. she opened it hesitantly as her limbs jittered with anxiety and read the words sent in return. it was disheartening how distant and formal the younger had sounded despite tiffany’s relief that she hadn’t responded with hostility.

  Once outside she was met with a worried look from her manager, of course she knew he would be worried. She had left early once again without letting anyone know, but in her mind she didn’t want to inconvenience anyone. So she just nodded her head at him before opening the door of the car; closing it behind her. Alone—she thought, she was finally alone able to process over the events that lead up to now. Especially the message she received (just moments ago), whilst opening her bag she was alerted by the familiar jingle of her phone going off.    Another one? She thought, grabbing for her phone. Tiffany must be very persistent to get hold of her, she had every reason to ignore the message and put her phone away. However, Krystal would do more harm than good in this situation so she opened her phone and began reading the contents of the message. She wanted her to wait. Would that be wise? Krystal began debating with herself, with the way she was feeling emotionally she didn’t want to hurt the older girl if they directly met up somewhere. What would the others think? She didn’t want to be hostile in hope’s that the former was looking for some sort of reconciliation.   Anxiety was getting the better of her by then, despite the others best interest to meet up. Krystal didn’t know how the outcome would play out, or even how to respond to her. Just staring at the message was becoming hard for her to think, so she quickly began typing a message that she hoped would please the other in return.

    Hearing those words from her femalecompanion left her puzzled for a moment. Not knowing why the words were spokenaloud, she looked at her strangely before speaking. “Eh? Suzy-ssi is theresomething wrong?” Krystal wondered for a moment—she started her day relatively normal afew schedules here and there, but everything went according to plan. Had shesaid something abnormal? ‘No, I don’t think so…’ Krystal thought to herself. “Areyou just messing with me?” She spoke bluntly this time sounding slightly agitated.
