So I was hanging out with friends we haven’t seen in awhile today and I was wearing my Kylo Ren/ Snoke 2016 election shirt. Then one of them turns to me and goes,

“Oh I really like your shirt by the way. My only complaint with that movie was that they showed the dudes face way to much. What was the point of the helmet then haha!”

It took every fiber in my being to not go, “BECAUSE HE’S A FUCKING GIFT TO THE WORLD AND A FACE LIKE THAT SHOULD NOT BE HID. HE’S A GEM AND NEEDS TO BE CHERISHED AND PROTECTED. IF YOU HAD A FACE LIKE THAT WOULD YOU REALLY WANT TO HIDE IT BEHIND SOME MASK??????? PLUS THE MASK WAS JUST A PARALLEL TO DARTH VADERS AND IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A BIG REVEAL THAT HE ISN’T DISFIGURED. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO SHOW THAT PEOPLE ON THE DARK SIDE CAN LOOK TOTALLY NORMAL AND IT CAN BE CONFUSING.  AND HE WEARS IT MORE AS A SYMBOL THAN ANYTHING SINCE HE FEELS SUCH A CONNECTION WITH HIS GRANDFATHER. PLUS SHIT KIND OF HIT THE FAN THERE AT THE END SO I DON’T THINK HE WAS TOO WORRIED ABOUT FINDING HIS HELMET AND THEN PUTTING IT BACK ON. GOD GET IT TOGETHER MAN”

I look the way I look. As you get older, you don’t care that much. I am who I am. The military had something to do with that, because you get torn down so much, you grow thick skin. I know I look odd. I never think I look cool! [Laughs]. Because of what I do, the way I look is on the forefront, but you can either let it limit you and go down the rabbit hole of, “Oh God, why don’t I look like that?” or use it to fuel you, like, “What’s wrong with being different?”

Introverted Thinking (Ti): Adam is blunt, and unafraid to offer an objective opinion on just about anything. He is also incredibly detached at times, to dangerous levels when it comes to any of his girlfriends other than Hannah. He mostly keeps his thoughts to himself, and can be hard to read, but is quick to offer solutions to problems that also hints at his emotional state (wanting to move in with Hannah, and being upset when she finds another roommate).

Extroverted Sensing (Se): “You might be a sex addict,” Hannah says to him, and he admits it is probably true. He is incredibly physical in everything that he does (body building, running for miles, and his sexual appetites). He will try anything at least once for the experience. Adam is easily bored, and loses interest in things once they are no longer a challenge in some way for him. He likes to push Hannah to try new things physically that she has never done before.

Introverted Intuition (Ni): His insights into people are often spot on, albeit brutally delivered when he gets mad; his assessment of Hannah as insecure, neurotic, and childish is the truth. He has such a vision for his stand up theatrical performance that he refuses to participate when his friend’s creative tinkering threatens his initial intentions. Often, he makes up weird sexual fantasies.

Extroverted Feeling (Fe): He blows up once in awhile and shares his emotions all in a tangled rush. He sometimes expects others to know how he is feeling without stating it outright. Adam has an unhealthy habit of wanting to shock people and feed off their emotional reaction; his self-loathing drives him to try to make others hate him, to reinforce his feelings about himself (“Do you hate me now?” “Do you find me disguising?”).
