[TRANS] Stray Kids, New Album Title Track Is ‘My Pace’..Composed and Wrote Lyrics For All Tracks

JYP Entertainment’s Stray Kids will be coming back with their title track ‘My Pace’ of their new album ‘I am WHO’.

This past 12th, JYP Entertainment revealed that Stray Kids would be coming back after 5 months on August 6th with their second mini album ‘I am WHO’.

Continued, through the company’s official homepage and Stay Kids’ SNS channels, JYP revealed an image containing the new album ‘I am WHO’’s tracklist at 12AM on the 23rd, preparing the heat for the comeback.

If one follows the tracklist, Stray Kids’ comeback title track is ‘My Pace’. Like the title track ‘District 9’ of their debut album ‘I am WHO’ released this past March, team members 3RACHA’s Bang Chan, Changbin, and HAN participated in the composition and lyrics, raising expectations even further. It is a track containing the message that, ‘Comparison with others can create nervousness and unrest, but each person has their own pace and it’s fine to go by one’s own pace. Trust yourself’

Continuing from their debut album containing struggles finding one’s identity, this album ‘I am WHO’ contains the worries and research, efforts to find the answer with the title track ‘My Pace’ and a total of 8 tracks. The members participated in the composition and lyrics of track 1 ‘WHO?’, title track ‘My Pace’, ‘VOICES’, ‘QUESTION’, ‘Insomnia’, ‘M.I.A’, ‘No Need For The Mood To Sour Suddenly’, as well as CD-only side track ‘MIXTAPE #2’, proving their continuing musical growth.

From their pre debut album ‘Mixtape’ released this past January and their debut album ‘I am NOT’ released in March, Stray Kids have again participated in the composition and lyrics of the entire new album ‘I am WHO’, Stray Kids are communicating with their fans through their own music and message. This title track ‘My Pace’ was chosen after a fierce contention with other candidates, this album’s side tracks and other album contents are prepared to move people’s hearts.

To commemorate Stray Kids’ new album’s release, the day before the comeback on August 5th 5PM at the Seoul Dongdaemun Kyunghee University Grand Peace Palace they will hold their showcase ‘UNVEIL [Op. 02 : I am WHO]’.

This past March 25th, at the Jang Chung Sports Arena, an unprecedentedly large venue for a rookie , Stray Kids held their debut showcase ‘UNVEIL [Op. 01 : I am NOT]’ and after 5 months will be holding their comeback showcase at the Kyunghee University Grand Peace Palace. After expanding their concert venue, they are planning on showcasing new music to their fans for the first time with the concert name ‘UNVEIL’ which holds the meaning of ‘taking the veil off of a crafted work’.

Stray Kids is a boy group shown through JYP and Mnet’s reality program ‘Stray Kids’ in October 2017 made of 9 members Bang Chan, Woojin, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunijn, HAN, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. Since before debut they showed musical prowess and skill, receiving the name of ‘Music Industry’s Expectation’ and chosen as #1 among Billboard’s ‘TOP5 K-Pop Artists to Look Forward to in 2018’ leading to expectations towards their global growth. With this comeback ‘I am WHO’ it will be seen if they can solidify their spot as 2018’s best rookie and if they can lead the new generation of the music industry.
