There was a bit of a fire. Following the creator of ' how to draw almost everyday ' Kamo I can across a post about dot journaling which is also know as bullet journaling. It has interested me. I came across this book about drawing using dots and I aim to read more of the culture that the books art is based on. It would seem dragonflys lose their colour when they die. I imagine there could be away to preserve the colouration would need to look it up. Though I am now pondering the fact colour fads on death has me thinking could it be a biological process that creates the colour rather than a exoskeletal pigmentation. Anyway will be keeping the bug as those wings are awesome. Sad it died though #dragonfly #deadbugs #entomology

The dragonfly died unfortunately, at least I have a cool bug to add to my collection. One the pens getting a full range of skin tones can be quite annoying. I have managed to get a decent range in my water colour pencils but on art pens the only sets that seem to make it to my towns stores seem to be sadly lacking in full diversity range. #skintones #artpens #doodlediary #dailydoodle
My book arrived today though it will be a while before I get to read it as my son has claimed it for a while. He is marking his spot with a semi-appropriate bookmark. I kind of wish I could thank #abbyhoward personally as my son is on the autism spectrum and very few books grab his attention for him to want to read it by himself.
