The goverment Paid me to make a comic

Letting you all know the NZ Goverment sent me money to produce a comic. It's very wholesome and nice and maybe it comes out next year if I'm a good little boy and eat all my art vegtables.

For Christmas I made an advent calendar for Pokemon Quarantine Crystal. The theme was making fun some of the ZA mega evos being a bit lame so these were mostly jokes.

Halfway through they just became good ideas, then became Christmas references. But first they were all green.

After being green I slipped into feasible but still wacky Mega Evos.

Megas are a neat design space, they're mostly the same pokemon, but mores.

Hereabouts I made some real good ones.

Lastly, the Holiday themed ones. These I had the most dun with.

I can't belive Judy and Nick just straight up go at it for 5 minutes in the middle of the second movie.

Like, I can't pretend I wasn't happy to see them confirm their relashionship, but I thought the shot of what was clearly a condom was overdoing it for a PG film.

Dude Susie calls Noelle 'Top Shelf' it's fucking wild. They're really cute together. God what a cute game. I hope there's no alternate route or story or anything that makes anything bad happen. I'd hate that.

My lawyers are strongly recommending that I draw more pictures of Surge.

"It's what people are responding to, in this economy." They say.

"Look, this isn’t, uh, this isn’t what people responded to. The first time."

My Laywers sweat nervously, shuffling papers.

"It did generate interest, but the subject matter"

"Subject matter?" I interupt. "You mean Surge?"

"No-No, it's the, uh..."

The prime lawyer looks up at the others, eyes pleading. Another speaks up.

“While it did feature Surge, the other subject matter undermined her appeal. With certain major demographics.”

I nod, agreeably. Politely waiting. Prime lawyer knuckles his forehead and shivers.

“How about an expansion on the first Surge art you did? There’s more to that surely?” “You could change the camera angle” Adds the sub lawyer. “Color it maybe?”
