In Skip Beat we trust!!
Kuon coming out of the waterโฆAWOOGAโฆโฆ
Just finish my Skip Beat rewatch and I would like to confirm that it is still the best shoujo I have ever seen. Gonna go cry nowโฆ
Sho Fuwa is a dirty bastard for this phone call scene. Do you know what could of happen if he didnโt interrupt them!!!! Curse you Fuwa!!!
Currently taking a break from my Skip Beat manga read to rewatch the anime. Might I just say that all is right in my world!!
Skip Beat out of context:
Skip Beat out of context and itโs literally just Bo the Chicken
Ren is gonna feel sooooooo embarrassed and weird when he finds out Bo's Kyoko, and will probably wonder how he didn't realize cause Bo also has extreme emotional reactions and lays on the floor like she does. But, I think his feelings won't compare to the utter devastation Kyoko will feel when she finds out Ren is Corn, not because of what she's revealed to him, but because it will upend her whole world view for Corn to not actually be a fairy prince. It's such an important part of her belief system, I worry about her when its taken away.
I am obsessed with this image omg!!
kyoko mogami is really just the character of all time. she's a scarily good actress who can transform herself completely. she has mommy issues. she's sworn off love and relationships. she can be weird and strange and off-putting. she makes everyone she meets fall in love with her. she's incredibly smart and astute. she's the most oblivious person on the face of the planet. she looks sweet and cute and harmless. she's the most frightening person you'll ever meet. she's traumatized as hell. she's annoyingly relentless and optimistic. they just don't make characters like her anymore....
Kyoko is best girl BLUEPRINT!!!
100 female anime characters that i Love!

Volume 1 ~ Chapter 5: The Emotion She Lacks
โWanting to be loved seems hopeless the more you yearn for it.โ The most heartfelt and relatable line in volume 1 of skip beat. There is nothing in this world I understand and relate to more than heartbreak. Iโve experienced every type of heartbreak a person could experience but much like Kyoko up to this current chapter, Iโve never experienced love being reciprocated. You spend so much time loving and caring for another person that you happen to lose yourself in the end. Love feels like such a basic human experience that everyone has felt at least once in their life and you for whatever reason canโt possibly experience what it feels like to be loved, no matter how bad you want to. So much so that the emotion that everyone has within them โloveโ turns into the exact opposite โhateโ. Hatred for love, hatred for yourself for being incapable of being loved, and hatred for the people who get to experience it with ease. Yoshiki Nakamura did an excellent job at capturing this feeling and putting it into words. It almost makes you feel like Kyoko can speak, feel, and react to the thoughts you yourself canโt even express. I think this is the best panel in volume 1.
