I was fairly content that this fanart slip under the radar since the Duel Destinies comic was just a tiny bit ago (cough* 5 yrs *cough) BUT I saw that tremendous ask from loud-quiet-and-fragile who just *chef’s kiss* perfectly summed up my feelings about it, and thought why not! That comic needs more appreciation!

It is said that the very sight of this fierce warrior is enough to cause uncontrollable spasms of the diaphragm and lungs and bring tears to the eyes of even the hardest, most stoic soldiers. Lungs ache, sides split, and all know to steer clear of the fearsome battlecry of the Felt Berserker!

You are one of my favourite comic artists and I wanted to give you something for your birthday so here is a birthday card and a picture of the duck familytree in estonian! when I was little that page was one of my favourite things to look at when I was rereading my comics and I hope you like it!

I didn’t know how much I needed a Jester hat until we had it sewn.

I have to admit I have no idea what I’m doing becuase I’ve never sent fan art to anyone before and this isn’t technically fanart. But… I figured out what I wanted to be for Halloween, and that was my favorite character, the one I wish I’d been clever enough to come up with.

Really, the Princess and the Jester is my favorite story pretty much ever, and I’ve learned a lot about how to draw simply by looking at your art. I wore it to a party, and didn’t talk once the entire time. I even got to wear it to work on Halloween, and I plan to wear it to a renaissance festival soon.

I’ve got to thank you for your wonderful stories, the amazing ongoing plot of TPoH, and especially the Duck Doodle Comics. Its all amazing, and inspired me towards something I’d like to do one day (write comics, that is.) My art needs major improvement, but practice makes perfect, after all, and your style and work has always impressed me to no end.

I’m going to hope there isn’t a character limit and ask two questions as well, as I’m not sure where else to ask them. Is Clip going to be continued eventually?

And, might you ever do a story on how the Jester came to his job and met the princess? Becuase if not, I may very well someday try my hand at a small fancomic, becuase the story behind those two is something that will stay with me for a long time :)

Thank you again for all the work and love you put into your art. Its shaped at least a little of who I am today!
