The Suanyu is a bird found in Chinese Bestiaries. The Suanyu is described as a bird with the body of a snake and it has four wings, six eyes, and three legs and it gets its name from the sound that it makes. It is said that if a Suanyu is seen by a person it is an omen and everyone in the area will become fearful of what may happen next.
