Maya Tutorial Basic Material.

A tutorial showing the options within a Blinn material in Maya. My Youtube upload of the Tutorial I did.

The tutorial was a little helpful, for it gives the basics of the material tweaking and so is more of a recap for users of Maya. Quicktime was hard to use the first time, but I could use it again if I needed to. It is a useful tool for the Mac to have, but a bit clunky at first, and the file size can be a bit big once the recording has stopped. The only problem I encountered was the file size and there was no advice how to compress it. Before I did this tutorial, I had a test run on Photoshop to try out Quicktime. The file size was big, and compressing it was just making it over the limit for uploads. So for big files, it is a negative consideration to note. I chose my tutorial for the simple material tweaks for many people can easily forget how to toggle the settings and find certain options within the material. I did enjoy this because I thought I can be a little helpful, and at the very least remind people of what the options are.

Grading News.

Unit 12 And Unit 14, originally a pass +, have now turned into a merit. 

This is a good sign, for I am at this point checking so I can check what needs improving from my strengths and weaknesses.

Ones that are consistent in staying pass+ Are unit’s 5, 32 and 66.
