transportation in yokio city
the main way to travel through the city is walking and public transportation. businesses are often in the heart of the city, residential options surround that, government buildings and other necessities surround housing, and the outskirts of the city are a sprinkled mix of everything. trolleys, bullet trains, and specialty transportation vehicle roads intertwine through everything, with many walking and bike paths as well. a large train system surrounds the city, which is the main way of travel to other countries/cities etc. air travel has not been explored yet.
public transportation is free and funded by the government. you can also purchase bikes, electric scooters, or other small vehicles to be used on bike paths. roads are specifically used for transporting goods and services or for emergency vehicles. personal cars are extremely rare, and you need to have a justifiable reason to have one before being granted a permit. there are also special busses for those with disabilities who struggle with trains/trolleys, but everything has disability options.
