“One Small Step For Man, One Giant Leap For Mankind” - Neil Armstrong
This is the single greatest event in human history. One can truly not say enough about the importance of this landing and what it not only did for America, but what it has done for mankind in general. It has given us the great courage to continue to reach further and further into the unknown and grow as a human race. It has led to countless discoveries in so many areas of scientific and biological research that they are simple too numerous to list. The efforts of not only men, but that of women, and people of different races to see that it isn’t gender or race that decides the course of human events, but it is the fundamental desire to become more that gauges our growth as a species. Here is to those who have come and gone throughout our costly but inevitable race to the stars. Many gave their lives so that we can experience the countless advances of the human race that now propel us into the future. Thank you for your service and your dedication.
