Lexus’s arm bands are finished!!!! Someone wanted to me to make them the lexa cosplay that I put up all those years ago, and I have some free time right now so I figured why not. I am making it higher quality this time around as someone is paying for this and because my original was meant just for the one event and pictures it was held together with staples lol, anyway it’s been a really fun sewing adventure!

Little shop of horrors esque Venus fly trap cake, pot is vanilla pound cake with fondant and Oreo cookie crumble top. Leaves are modeling chocolate, stem is a wooden dowel, and the head is Rice Krispie and modeling chocolate.

Schrödinger’s girl. Part of the body and the Mind collection. This piece is very important to me as I’m trying to convey the feeling involved in someone waiting for test results at a hospital or doctors office. While waiting for the results you are forced to simultaneously accept that you are equal parts healthy and not healthy a paradox similar to the Schrödinger’s cat experiment, but a more emotional and unifying human experience that many people silently understand but rarely discuss.

this is part of my collection, the body and the mind. I am exploring philosophy through human anatomy. In this I am trying to take the clinical approach often taken to philosophy and explore it as a human construct and as such in an emotional unifying way. In this piece I use a rib cage as a literal cage enclosing only office supplies and quickly moving time where lungs should be.
