When I decided to make lanyards for my shop, I had two demographics in mind: educators and con attendees. Obviously there are lots of other folks who love lanyards, but I thought they’d be super fun for teachers to add a little pop of fandom to their classroom attire and for folks who wanted to match their lanyard to their cosplay.

It has been 10 years since EXIT, PURSUED BY A BEAR came out, and it is still in print and reaching new readers, which is kind of incredible.

It is also 10 years since I went to St. Paul to do school visits with my editor, and made this cake for my launch party.

I posted it here, and it was picked up by either @cleolinda or @gffa (sorry, it has been a while), and I joked it would be the most famous I'd ever be in the Star Wars fandom.

They're here to change the future for the better, but they arrived wayyyyy too early. They have no idea who any of these people are, and they only VAGUELY know how it's going to end.

I think it'd be hilarious. Total and utter chaos. I need it so badly.
