Will you lay with me when the sun hits right? Will you lay with me forever?

Here is the 1 second everyday video I created over the last year tracking my twenty third year of pretending I know what I’m doing with my life. I’ve had too many naps and I’ve drank too much but it’d be rad if you gave it a watch.
On a side note, the new The Hotelier is beautiful.
so I thought I’d start writing on here again. I mean, I said that last year then disappeared almost instantly because sometimes I’m flakier than an actual Cadbury’s Flake chocolate bar.
Let’s see what happens.
Scarlett Johansson in Under the Skin (2013)
I kinda just fell off the earth there.
I kinda wish my life was more interesting so I'd post more.
Today I bought a denim jacket on sale. I think 2014 might be the year I bring double denim back or die trying.
Hey, let your honesty shine now like it shines on me.
My Mum was moaning at me yesterday that I'm not eating properly and not taking my diabetes as seriously as I should be.
Earlier I wanted to melt some chocolate and pour it over some cornflakes but we didn't have any so I had to use Frosties instead. I think my diabetes now has diabetes.
I was watching Kurt Vonnegut interviews on youtube, but that somehow turned into videos of Thierry Henry's greatest goals, and that has further somehow turned into dinosaur and ghost documentaries.
What is happening.
Nick's Most Bodacious Films Of The Year 2013
(ot: This is most definitely subject to change considering that I haven't seen a couple of films that I've been meaning to see (Before Midnight, Stoker, The Canyons, American Hustle, Blue Is The Warmest Colour,) plus the fact I always make silly choices making these lists like putting TDKR over Beasts of the Southern Wild and Shame last year. Expect an updated list around Oscar season.)
10.Gravity (Dir: Alfonso Cuarón)
9.Blackfish (Dir: Gabriela Cowperthwaite)
8.Prisoners (Dir: Denis Vileneuve)
7.The Conjuring (Dir: James Wan)
6.The Kings of Summer (Dir: Jordan Vogt-Roberts)
5.Only God Forgives (Dir: Nicolas Winding Refn)
4.Pacific Rim (Dir: Guillermo Del Toro)
3.Mud (Dir: Jeff Nichols)
2.Frances Ha (Dir: Noah Baumbach)
1.Upstream Color (Dir: Shane Carruth)
I would try and do a top 10 list for my favourite TV shows of 2013, but I know every spot would be taken by Breaking Bad. Although I guess Bob's Burgers and Fresh Meat have been pretty aces. I'm definitely going to have to binge on more TV this year.
New Years was pretty good. I drank a lot of strongbow and ate an undisclosed amount of cheese nibbles, had a rousing sing-a-long to Kanye West's "Bound 2", and threw up in Leah's bathroom at 5am the next day.
Here's to a healthy, wealthy and wise 2014.
Nick's Most Bodacious Albums of the Year
10.Listener - Time Is A Machine
9.Laura Stevenson - Wheel
8.The World Is A Beautiful Place And I Am No Longer Afraid To Die - Whenever, If Ever
7.Childish Gambino - Because The Internet
6.Biffy Clyro - Opposites
5.Captain, We're Sinking - The Future Is Cancelled
- The Dejá Entendu of the 2010s.
4.Kanye West - Yeezus
- Although the lyrics are very problematic and not all of Kanye's ideas pay off, Yeezus is still perhaps this years most interesting album when exploring issues of gender, race, and fame in the twenty-first century.
3.Deafheaven - Sunbather
- George Clarke could be screaming out a recipe for cauliflower cheese for an hour and this would still be the most staggeringly beautiful album of the year.
2.Justin Timberlake - The 20/20 Experience
- Check what I wrote here. The 20/20 Experience helped me remain optimistic when I was preparing for my final exams at university, and for that I want to kiss Justin Timberlake right on the face.
1.The Wonder Years - The Greatest Generation
- "Two blackbirds on a highway sign are laughing at me here with my wings clipped.
I'm staring up at the sky but the bombs keep fucking falling.
There's no devil on my shoulder; he's got a rocking chair on my front porch
But I won't let him in. No, I won't let him in.
'Cause I'm sick of seeing ghosts and I know how it's all gonna end.
There's no triumph waiting. There's no sunset to ride off in.
We all want to be great men and there's nothing romantic about it.
I just want to know that I did all I could with what I was given."
You can call me Nick Duplass because I'm going to try and write a mumblecore film.
Hopefully Greta Gerwig will get involved so we can meet and get married.
"Now Jesus Christ I'm not what you had in mind. Jesus Christ, don't cry. I made a list of everything that I despise and I wrote your name down several times.
I'm waiting for my whole world to fall apart. I'm waiting for the storm to start."
