2.30am and i'll actually never be able to be normal about retrace 92 ever in my life. this guy was set up to die on all levels of the narrative and he knows that and he's come to accept it. over the entire story his body keeps breaking down further and further, and he's fine with it. and it's literally the name he's taken, he's got to break things and be broken, and he's fine with it. his death is inevitable and he's fine with it. and THEN he's dying and he realises "no wait, no hold on, wait a minute, i actually also want to see the happy end, i want to live", and now I am supposed to act like that didn't fuck me up forever??
