"Happy anniversary, Lucy"~âĄ
E.N.DLu drabble bc I got an idea last night
âLucyâŚyou canât be seriousâŚâ Grayâs hand fell limply to his side as the celestial mage pulled herself from his grip and walked forward.
Those behind them desperately tried to pull themselves up from the ground, to hold themself together for just one more second, to stop her from going with him.
âT-ThatâsâŚ! HeâsâŚheâs not Natsu anymore!â Erza roared as she stabbed her sword into the ground, heaving as she came to her knees.
âHeâll always be Natsu, I canât just leave himâŚweâre a team.â Lucy said, her back facing the guild as she balled her fists and held in her tears.
âE.N.D-sama,â Mard Geer beckoned the newly born demon toward his new home with a bow. âWe should really be on our way,â
âDonât rush me.â He shot out, folding his arms as he looked down upon the kiss-ass still clutching his book. âIâll take my time, and so will Lucy.â
âY-Yes, forgive meâŚâ
âYouâre welcome to join us too, Happy,â Natsu said as he held his hand our, knowing the wavering blonde would make the right decision.
âLushiiâŚâ The blue cat clung to her ankle, shivering as he met the eyes of the demon transformed before him. His obsidian horns werenât as intimidating as his snake-like golden gaze, or the onslaught of red scales along the curve of his body. âIâŚIâŚis it okay for, I mean, I donâtâŚdonât want to be apart from NatsuâŚâ
âNeither do I,â She took in a deep breath, letting a kind smile show as she bent over to pick up the weeping cat. âWeâll come with you, Natsu,â
âI knew you would,â He chuckled, taking her hand and leading her towards the cube fortress. âWeâll always be together, right?â
âYeahâŚalwaysâŚâ

A section of one of my WIP that I started and never finished hehe
Lucy was lying in bed, unable to sleep. One, because she was nervous for the date she had the next day, her fingers twisting the soft texture of her pillow while she gnawed at her lip to distract herself. But also because her hunger pains have been increasingly getting worse.Â

Unfinished and unedited draft comin at ya
A young Lucy sighed a wonderfully bewitched sign as the old woman who was reading to the crowd at the childrenâs library closed the leather-bound book and finished the story that many were a fan of.
E.N.D PanâŚshe loved this story, so much so that Spetto went out to buy her the same edition with its faux weathered pages and watercolor painted images.
The boy with pink hairâŚa dragon who could fly between worldsâŚwhy, he was just the most amazing boy on and off Edolas. While other girls may have been interested in gallant princes and stately weddings, Lucy was enthralled with the mystical and magical.
Most of her fantasies stemmed from the stories her mother told her often, just before she fell asleep. She remembered them dearly whenever she looked to the stars from the perch on her balcony.
The twelve zodiacâŚLayla spoke of them as if they were her old friends and taught Lucy just as well. Even though they never answered, Lucy still made sure to talk with them every night before bed. It made her feel like she had close friends, and it was a way to stay connected with her late mother.
The story of E.N.D Pan was one that filled her with pleasant hope. Her home was dark and cold and devoid of love, his story taking her thoughts away from it even if only for a moment.
It began with the Strauss children, three orphans who lived in Edolas too. But they were cast out of their village after it was discovered that they carried magic in their bodies, which was outright impossible. Magic in Edolas only resided in crystals collected and inserted into objects to create magical items.
They were marked as demons and would have been beaten in the streets if the townspeople werenât so afraid of them. Lisanna wished quietly one night after Elfman came home covered in squashed tomatoes. She wished for someone to save them, someone to take them away from this god-awful place.
And suddenly, there he was with his flying companion, Happy.
âSecond star to the right and straight on âtil ya see Fiore!â
FioreâŚa country twice as large as Edolas, connected to countries even bigger than the last.
At the heart of the town, Magnolia, was where the mage guild, Fairy Tail, resided.
They took in the Strauss family as if they were their own. The whole darn world was full of magical people just like them!
There was Gray, runaway prince from the Kingdom of Iceberg who had the power to make anything out of ice. Juvia, the mermaid; she was incredibly powerful and head-over-heels in love with Gray. Erza, daughter of the famed pirate Belserion. She left the pirate life behind after having a run-in with Natsu and Gray when they were younger and was changed for the better.
It was safe to say that Lucy had found her first love, that most nights she went to bed wishing and dreaming about Natsu stealing her away in a similar fashion.
Jude didnât approve of these thoughts or liked hearing his daughter go on and on to Spetto with her dreams and wishes. Insane was a suitable word; his daughter was insane and undoubtedly full of things his late wife filled her head with. How was he going to look to his business partners and colleagues who all had refined children while his jumped off the fake plank of a pirate ship? He would have none of it.
One day, when Lucy came home from the park, all the books in her room were gone, no toys in her chest, only a stack of notebooks left on her desk.
âW-WhaâŚâ She felt tears at the corners of her eyes as she ran to her nightstand, even the book Spetto read to her every night was stolen.
âIâve hired multiple tutors for you to begin gaining a proper education from,â Jude cleared his throat as he stood in Lucyâs bedroom doorway.
âB-But, papaâŚâ
âItâs in your best interest to forget about those fairy tales you insist on reading. Youâre a Heartfilia, itâs time you start acting like one.â
As she grew up, Lucy moved farther and farther away from the faux world of Earthland as she was pulled into the endless whirlwind of lessons, high teas, and etiquette courses. She barely ever received a momentâs rest, thankfully still able to take the time to speak to the stars before bed.
âOh, LokeâŚâ The now eighteen-year-old sighed, holding her arms close to herself as the cold nipped at her skin. The Leo constellation was in full view overhead that night, his nickname given to him by her late mother.
âToday was the worst, I never do like having tea with Hughes and Sugar BoyâŚtheyâre not at all interesting. And they spend half our tea time staring down my chest. What I wouldnât give to punch them outâŚat least this wasnât the worst birthday Iâve had. Thank you for visiting me, I think Iâll be able to sleep much better knowing that youâre watching over me. Goodnight,â
Lucy turned around with a sigh as she decided to leave her balcony and get ready for bed, gasping slightly at the sight of a gift left upon her sheets. A card was placed on the large red ribbon, her name detailed in glittered writing.
'I hope this is still your favorite!â
There was no name left oat the bottom, but she assumed it was Spetto who would have made sure she received something.
Branded into the familiar leather was the title, E.N.D Pan. She eagerly flipped open the book to see her young and scrawled out handwriting, her name plastered to the first page in purple crayon.
âIâd almost forgotten you,â Lucy smiled softly as her fingers brushed around the curve of Natsuâs cheek, his broad smile painted in soft watercolors. âMaybe thatâs why I donât have much fun with anyone around here, no one is as energetic as you are,â
Lucy fell asleep with the book open on her chest, having reread the text over and over until her eyes fluttered closed by the force of her tired body. Her dreams hadnât been very memorable until that night, her heart reheated by the fictional flames bursting forth from Natsuâs tanned fists. His lips moved, but she failed to imagine his voice. She grinned when he grinned, the desire to be held by him bobbling in her chest again. She never loved anyone like the way she loved Natsu, even if it wasnât real. While other girls had their prince, she had her dragon.

Wow, I actually wrote something!! Please Know Who I Am chapter 3 is now up!!Â
A church in Norway built in 1181 without any nails.
of all the things to highlight about this building the lack of nails is not the thing I would have expectedÂ
lâm all fired up!!!!
someone sent me an ask about this forever ago
The classroom door slammed open, the sound of its crash in the sliding frame startling everyone and the teacher. In the doorway stood an out-of-breath and slanty-eyed student with his shirt untucked and hair still messy from sleep. The teacher didnât bother saying anything as he grumbled and trudged his way back to his desk, all the while glaring at the blonde who turned her nose up at him and refused to acknowledge him.
The class let out a collective sigh of relief as the crazed pink-haired boy quickly fell asleep per his usual routine, allowing their lesson to continue in peace.
This stressful arrival of Natsu Dragneel had been going on for about a week, everyone adapted to his dramatic disruption. Even the teacher let his behavior slide because it was such an unprecedented ordeal, no one knew what to do.
Natsu Dragneel was fighting with his best friend, Lucy Heartfilia.

Day 2: Mischief

Ninth period. The last one of the day, and the one Lucy hated the most. Well, hate is a strong word. However, it certainly wasnât fun having to sit next to your year-long crush who didnât even know about your existence.
It was her fault, really. If only she wouldâve talked to him. It really wasnât that hard. All she needed to do was turn her head to the right and introduce herself. Hi, Iâm Lucy Heartfilia. Nice to meet you! And then they would talk and discover just how much they have in common, and they would fall in love and get married. See? Easy.
Except⌠he was the Natsu Dragneel. She could never go up to him and start a casual conversation! He was one of the cool kids. The type that everyone knew and everyone liked. The class clown. The jock. The hot guy. Everything Lucy was not.
Albeit she had a decent amount of friends, she was known as shy, and quiet. The type that people would go to for âhelpâ on the test. The teacherâs pet. The bookworm. She didnât believe someone as gregarious and confident as Natsu could ever be interested in someone as boring as her.
Which is why she was so shocked when she felt him put his hand on her shoulder to gain her attention.
âHey.â He whispered. Lucy was speechless. She tried to play it cool, but was pretty sure she was failing. He had never talked to her in the entirety of the school year, unless they had to do a lab together. And even then, their conversations were short and strictly about the assignment. âIsnât it stupid that we still have to do labs in the last week of school?â
Lucy chuckled nervously. âI guess.â
âMy friend Gray told me they arenât doing anything in Ms. Straussâ class.â Gray Fullbuster. Natsuâs⌠best friend? Truthfully, Lucy wasnât sure. They were always together but they always seemed to be yelling insults at each other. Juvia, one of her best friends, constantly tried, but failed, to flirt with him. Lucy admired her determination, and wished she had a bit of it herself. âBut we had to be stuck with Mr. Dreyarâ Natsu murmured. He and Mr. Dreyar were not the best of friends. Natsu was the class clown, always getting in trouble and never taking anything seriously. At least, those were Mr. Dreyarâs words, ones he repeated almost every day.
âCall it senioritis, but I donât want to be here, and I have a way of getting us out of here. If you want to, of course.â He finished.
Lucy didnât know how to respond. She was never one to cause problems. If anything, Mr. Dreyar always trusted her to solve the problems other students would cause. But, Natsu Dragneel wanted to skip class with her. When will an opportunity like this ever arise again?
âOk.â She let out a shuddering breath. âWhat do you have in mind?â
He smirked mischievously. âPass me that test tube.â He pointed to one of the test tubes standing on the test tube rack on her side of the desk.
âBut thatâsââ
âI know what it is. Just trust me, âkay?â And how could Lucy refuse when he looked at her with those dark green eyes and that cute little smirk? âBefore I do the honorsâŚâ Natsu pinched Lucyâs nose to prepare her for what was to come, and Lucy hesitantly did the same to him, her cheeks painted with a dust of pink.
With his one available hand, he poured the contents of the test tube in the flask. It only took about two seconds before the chemical reacted with the substance already in the flask, instantly rising up and flooding the science classroom with an overwhelmingly bad odor.
Everyone started running out of the class, coughing and covering their noses with their lab coats, including Mr. Dreyar, who ran out of the class with his face cringed in disgust. The culprits werenât far behind; Natsu grabbed Lucyâs hand and ran with her out of the classroom. Perhaps she was being delirious because of the smell, but she could swear she felt a spark the moment his hand came in contact with hers.
Everyone ran out to the end of the hallway, as far away from their classroom as possible, and once her adrenaline had died down, Lucy couldnât help but burst out laughing. Natsu was startled by the sound, but soon after he accompanied her.
âThat was the most exciting thing I think Iâve ever done⌠and all I did was hand you a test tube!â
âReally? Youâre such a goody two shoes, I might need to corrupt you a little bit.â He winked teasingly, and Lucy felt her entire face heat up.
âYou.â Their little bubble of joy was bursted by the growling of their teacher. âNatsu Dragneel. I canât say I didnât expect this from you, but Lucy?â
The aforementioned let her head fall forward in shame.
âLucy didnât have anything to do with this. Iâm the one to blame.â Lucy looked up with wide eyes, taken aback by Natsuâs declaration. She would be lying if she said it didnât make little butterflies flutter in her stomach.
âNo. I helped him, Mr. Dreyar. Iâm sorry.â Natsu opened his mouth, about to protest, but was interrupted by the blonde. âIâm ready to take responsibility for my actions.â
The young teacher looked at them sternly. âVery well. If both of you are so willing to take the blame, then I hope you wonât mind coming back after school to clean up the science lab.â
âBut today is the wrestling team party. I canât miss that! Can we just get detention tomorrow?â Whined Natsu.
âYou shouldâve thought of that before stinking up my working space. Iâll see you both at three.â With that, Mr. Dreyar headed downstairs, probably to discuss the matter at hand with the principal, who also happened to be his grandfather.
âIâm sorry, Lucy.â
âNo, itâs okay. Iâve never gotten detention before, I wonder what itâs like.â If she was being honest, the idea of spending the afternoon alone with Natsu didnât seem like such a bad thing.
****
âHere are your utensils.â Mr. Dreyar put down two buckets full of water, and handed each of them a toothbrush.
âToothbrushes? You expect us to clean all of this with toothbrushes!? Is that even legal?â
âAnd I better be able to see my reflection on the floor after youâre done. Iâll be in the class next door with Ms. Strauss if you need anything.â
âThis is child abuse!â Yelled Natsu as the chemistry teacher headed out.
âIâm sorry, Lucy. If you want you can go and Iâll take care of this.â He turned to the blonde with an apologetic smile.
âNo! Really, Natsu, donât worry about it. This could be⌠fun.â She stated sheepishly.
Natsu showed her a lopsided grin. Just like that, they started working, scrubbing all the desks and windows with the toothbrushes. After a few minutes of silence where Lucy tried to build up the courage to start a conversation, she heard music from the other side of the room, where Natsu was cleaning one of the windows.
âI love that song.â Lucy said before she could stop herself.
âMe too. Iâm actually trying to learn it on the guitar.â
âReally? I didnât know you played guitar⌠or that you liked 5 Seconds Of Summer.â She smirked.
âI like Amnesia, and a couple other songs Iâve heard.â He scratched the back of his neck, as if embarrassed to admit he liked the band. âAnd yes, I play the guitar. You would know if you actually talked to me.â
The comment was meant to be a lighthearted joke, but Lucy frowned, unbeknownst to Natsu. It was true. If only Lucy wouldnât have been so wrapped up in her own head, she wouldâve gotten to know her crush betterâ be friends with him at least. Now, theyâre three days away from graduation and this is the first time they had actually talked.
They cleaned in silence for a few minutes, listening to Natsuâs playlist until an ad interrupted the music.
âThis is boring.â Natsu drawled, startling Lucy slightly. âCan we take a break?â
âWeâve only been cleaning for like twenty minutes.â The girl smiled. It amused her how energetic Natsu was.
âStill.â He shrugged. âLetâs play a game or somethinâ.â
âWhat game?â
âI donât knowâŚâ He pondered for a few seconds, before an imaginary lightbulb turned on above his head. âWhat about truth or dare?â
âI donât know⌠I donât really like that game.â
âCâmon, Luce! Live a little! I promise I wonât make you do anything that could get you in trouble.â
Lucy was surprised by the nickname, but she didnât mind. After thinking about it for a bit and looking at his cute little face she sighed. âFine.â It was just a game of truth or dare with her year-long crush. Alone. No big deal.
Natsu grinned from ear to ear and Lucy thought she might melt for a second.
***
âTruth or dare?â Natsu grumbled from the corner of the classroom. Lucy had dared him to sit still in that corner for three rounds, which was almost impossible for someone as rambunctious as him. The game had gone on for way longer than anticipated, and they were getting more and more comfortable with each other as time went on.
âTruth.â
âWhoâs your crush?â Lucy could swear she saw a dust of pink on his cheeks as he asked the question. A color that was more than likely also covering her face at the moment.
âNo one.â
âReally? No one at all?â
âNope.â Lucy was a bad liar, she knew it, but she still tried her best to hide her true feelings. âTruth or dare?â She added before he could question her any further.
âConsidering I canât do any dares while Iâm sitting here: truth.â
She already knew what she wanted to ask. In fact, she had wondered about this for a very long time. Itâs now or never, Lucy thought as she exhaled.
âSame question for you⌠do you like someone?â Lucy looked down while answering the question, scared of the answer.
âI do.â At this, Lucy looked up, trying to conceal her disappointment. âI think you know her. Sheâs short, blonde, really pretty, like gorgeous. Sheâs kind of weird, though. I mean, weâve been lab partners for the whole year and sheâs never even said âhiâ to me unless I say it first. But sheâs very smart, and I like how she blushes at every little thing.â Natsu grinned, and Lucy blushed. âShe also has big brown eyes. Theyâre pretty. Like her. Sheâs really pretty. Did I say that already?â
The blonde kept looking at the floor with wide eyes. Could it be that all this time, Natsu actually liked her too? It seemed impossible but, it was true. She couldnât look up. She felt as if she looked up, she would see a mischievous glint in his eyes or something that would give away the fact that he was only joking, messing with her and with her feelings. But⌠Natsu wouldnât do that. As much of a trouble maker as he was, Natsu was kind, and cared about other people. She knew it in her heart. So, Lucy looked up. She saw Natsu looking down at the floor, his face almost matching the color of his hair, with an expression of⌠disappointment? Fear? Regret? All of the above?
âReally?â Lucy let out in a tone that was barely above a whisper.
Natsu flinched, as if he had forgotten where he was for a moment. He looked at his lab partner and smiled softly. âYeah. Figured Iâd tell you before graduation.â
âI⌠I like you too.â Her face felt as if it was burning. Natsuâs smile widened as he looked into her eyes. âWe should finish up.â
The pink-haired boyâs smile instantly fell.
âI forgot we had to finish cleaning.â He groaned.
âYou got us into this mess with your mischief, mister. Assume the consequences.â Said the blonde with a firm voice, though her smirk gave away the fact she was only teasing.
Natsu grinned lopsidedly. âAnd I donât regret any of it.â
Demon x Exorcist thing I thought of
Natsu whistled as his boots crunched against the sodden earth beneath his feet, eyes sharp as they paid attention to the surrounding woods he ventured through.
He smirked as his ears tuned into the subtle sound of someone trying to sneak up on him.
âYou know that wonât work on me, Luce,â He hummed, a sharp squeak passing through the lips of the hidden figure. âI can hear better than you, yâknow,â
âMeanie, youâre supposed to let me sneak up on you!â The little blonde frowned as she emerged from the trees, arms squeezed tightly around a stuffed blue kitten. The white dress she wore was slightly tattered, the edges covered in dirt, her hair tied up with a ribbon heâd given her not long ago.
âSorry, sorry,â He chuckled, kneeling down to ruffle her hair. âBut you know the rules, youâre not supposed to follow me while Iâm working,â
âBut I got bored,â She whined and stomped her bare foot against the ground. âYou never let me play with you in the daytime,â
âYouâve got Happy to take care of for me, right? Doesnât he keep you entertained?â Natsu asked with a smile as her cheeks puffed out with air.
âSometimes, but heâs always making fun of me,â She said as she held up the stuffed toy. âHe says youâre cooler than me,â
âThatâs not true, youâre super cool, Lucy! The coolest demon in the forest, donât forget that. But Iâm not supposed to be lookinâ out for you, yâknow? You could get hurt if someone sees you, youâre just a kid,â He sighed as her bottom lip began to quiver, the exorcist picking her up as he began to walk again. âIâll take ya home, and we can have dinner together when I come home, okay? Iâll make your favorite!â
âDonât forget fish for Happy! He wants smoked salmon!â
âAlright, alright, promise I wonât,â
getting ready for school so here we go again
Iâve been working on this idea for a while, this is just a rough sketch of an AU I lowkey wanna turn into a multi-chap
Lucy sighed for the umpteenth time as she stared out the window, her mind in another place as the teacher drawled on with the lesson. She found herself zoning out like this often, not because she was under a lot of stress or anything, even though it was her senior year.Â
Besides, Macao-sensei really knew how to talk about one particular fact for twenty long minutes; most of the class was either avoiding his gaze or finding themselves daydreaming at this point.
It had been about four or so months since the school year started and the foolish, idiotic men of Magnolia High still had an annoying pact set in stone, preventing anyone from asking Lucy Heartfilia out.

Natsu smacked his lips and stretched his arms over his head, a low growl in his throat as he did so. His jaw lowered itself as he let out a loud yawn, his small body lifting as he sat up. Igneel stood at the edge of his sonâs bed as he watched the fledgling roll out of bed, raising a brow as he walked right past him.
âNatsu? No good morning hug?â The Dragneel father was surprised that the pink-haired boy didnât immediately rocket himself from his sheets to glomp him with an insanely tight hug; which is why Grandine refused to wake him up.
The young dragon didnât bother answering his father as he waddled himself over to the bathroom to do his morning routine.Â
âNeed any help with that?â He stifled a snicker as Natsu frustratedly pulled a t-shirt over his head and rolled around to tug on his pants.Â
Igneel watched as Natsu struggled to haul himself from stepstool to stepstool, almost missing the bowl as he fell half-asleep in front of the toilet and haphazardly brushing his teeth with toothpaste foam dripping from his bottom lip. From there, he pushed past his father again and grumpily threw off his pajamas and began rifling through his dresser for an outfit.
âLeave me alone,â Natsu glared at his dad while he pulled on his socks on. âIgneel.â
The older dragon was stunned, though not very surprised. The six-year-old only called his father by his first name whenever he was upsetâŚbut was there anything for him to be upset about?
