Illusia aka. Kyouko Kagamino

Revenge is Kyouko’s game. She was completely screwed over in life and no one was there to rescue her or tell her things would be okay. So now, she takes matters into her own hands. It’s not about rescuing the downtrodden or standing up for the weak, it’s finding the bullies who would take advantage of people and making them pay. She feels hard done by and wants to take that out on anyone who she thinks deserves it. She is cocky, loves toying with people by jumping into mirrors to play mind games and then making them sorry. She is aggressive and doesn’t like being moralised to, because what she’s doing is justice. It was the justice she never got and she’s more than happy to dish it out. She has two modes: cocky and playful; and wildly angry. She is a dangerous loner who isn’t afraid and hiding in the shadows, she’ll stroll up to a bar and announce who or what she’s looking for. That being said, she’s a fighter, not a killer and would much rather scum live suffering for their crimes.

Mimic aka. Matty Tate

Life’s a game to Matty, when he found he had superpowers that copied other people’s powers, it gave him a host of new ideas and a spring in his step. He loves being around people and the idea of sneaking up on someone with their own power just sounds like the most fun ever. He always does what he wants, doesn’t really consider other people’s feelings or objections because he thinks “a little fun’ll be good for ‘em”. Easily bored and always looking for the next thing to take his attention, he delights at recognizing people on the street, often just following them until something cool happens. Quick to figure things out, no matter the situation Matty will have figured out some way for him to benefit somehow, so he’s used to hearing “why do you care?” and “what’s your angle?”

Mr. Overlord aka. Scott Biggs

Scott has anger management problems. He always has. Working at Skyline National Bank, under a rich brat half his age and dealing with mind-numbing customers day in and day out only makes his problems worse. The discovery of his superpower gave Scott an outlet and a source of revenge against those who had wronged him. He is a very volatile person with a foul mouth and an aggressive way of doing everything, even the way he orders breakfast terrifies people. Though he is terrible with his emotions, he excels at handling himself in a crisis and found that he has a very strong leaderly quality to him. He has a strong defiant streak within him and a strong need to prove others wrong, which can lead to him being bull-headed and missing the bigger picture. If he can get a handle on his anger, he could be a really good superhero.

Calvin King

Calvin has a giant chip on his shoulder and it is especially directed at authority figures. Has an unwavering faith that he can’t get in any real trouble because his father practically owns the Mayor. His resentment at his father’s corruption originally made him angry at his father and mother for their various crimes, but it evolved into an outward anger at the world in general for making it possible for powerful people to get away with anything. He has very strong, mixed feelings about his family and will not miss a chance to bring it up to other people, both lashing out and becoming defensive. On his A Game, Calvin can take charge of a situation and remain cool under pressure, but he suffers from fluctuating self-esteem that really kneecaps his potential. Has a hard time making big decisions, the weight often causes him to become confused and depressed. Believes he was messed up from the very start, embracing a darker path he believes is his destiny.

Samson King

Rich, smooth and accustomed to lying to people’s faces, Samson is unfaltering and cool under pressure, making jokes in courtrooms and such. To the outside world, he’s the charismatic entrepreneur who owns half of Skyline City, but behind closed doors he’s a calculating businessman who knows exactly what needs to be said and done to get results and isn’t afraid to do it. He knows the road to success and makes sure that everything goes accordingly to ensure his family’s security. His dedication to his businesses and plans make him a hard working, dedicated man who has never been able to relax. His wife is his rock and often takes pressure off when he needs it most, their bond and faith towards one another is completely unbreakable.

Genevieve King

Pleasant, creative and brimming with artistic passion and dreams of a beautiful Skyline City, Genevieve is one of the most well-known women in all of Skyline. Frequently attends charity events and visibly giving to those in need, she has crafted an image that suits her and her husband’s needs. Though as calculating as her husband, Genevieve is a bit more emotionally charged than he, putting more of herself into her plans and getting more burnt out when things move too slowly for her. She is quite sensitive, especially when it comes to her family, and while Samson plays things cooler and more threateningly, Genevieve is not afraid to show her claws to those who threaten her behind closed doors. She is highly intelligent and takes extra precautions keeping her private life very private.

CG Model aka. Chelsea Vane

Superficial, short-sighted and incredibly to the point, Chelsea’s bluntness makes her so many enemies, but her hotness and  connections keep her surrounded by friends. She struts through life like she owns it, she has a very cynical view of everything and approaches all new opportunities with deadpan suspicion. Deep down, within her “I just want to be secure in life and who cares about anything else” heart, there is a secret optimist who wants to believe there’s more to life than getting rich and staying secure. She yearns for a little adventure but is afraid of taking risks that she’s not 100% sure will pay off. A natural commitment-phobe, she’s got a string of ex-lovers and past jobs that just didn’t “feel right for her”. Has trouble connecting with people and is a little on the anti-social side.

X-Out aka. Cat Cutter

Cat is a fierce go-getter that wants to do everything herself with her own two hands. She’s an overachiever that isn’t happy with her position in life so that pushes her to bite off even more than she can chew and overachieve at that too. She’s incredibly proud and prideful, having no shame in gloating over her achievements to friends and co-workers, especially the ones she’s very proud of and despises the very concept of asking for help. Too intelligent for her own good, she can do complex mathematics instantly, name the capitals of countries people barely know exist and is a vault of knowledge. She has a love-hate relationship with technology, in that she loves to hate it. A relationship made even more strained with her cybernetic eye that she keeps deathly secret. She’s good at making friends, but terrible at keeping them, and worse with girlfriends.

The Lively Twins

Syphon aka. Lucy Lively Bold and extremely outgoing, Lucy is a stark contrast to her twin. Where he is a “methodical genius” in his words, she shoots from the hip and plans really aren’t her style. She’s easily bored, strays from plans to do something cooler and better, always choosing style over substance. Though she’d protest, she and her twin have a fair number of similarities. They’re terrible at keeping allies and friends, being rude and dismissive and not even remembering it. She’s sharp as whip and great at improvising on the spot, but abysmal at the whole what happens next stage of plans. Susceptible to criticism and very likely to blame anyone and everyone who isn’t her! Despite her judginess and sarcasm towards people, she is incredibly engaging and can turn on the charm like no one’s business, playing roles instantly to get anything she needs.

The Spider aka. Drew Lively Pragmatic, self-centered, argumentative and basically born to be a criminal. Drew is always thinking of himself and ways in which he can benefit financially from any given situation. His prickly personality makes him incredibly difficult to work with and the only one who has tolerated him long enough is his twin sister. He’s quite the charmer, but it goes straight to his head; he’s very inventive, but thinks he’s a genius; and he’s very knowledgeable about Skyline City and its inhabitants and can be very insensitive and stubborn at dissenting voices. He is always scheming something and when his plans are close to complete he erupts in a huge burst of energy, announcing his plans.

Nightfall aka. Alexis Black

Jovial and charming, Alexis plays the role of playboy hero that steals the hearts of screaming girls. His true self is buried behind scripted interviews and photo-shoots, buried in insecurity and reliving past failures. He keeps his home-life incredibly secret and doesn’t let anyone in. He is quick-thinking and always has a comeback and a quickfire plan to get he and others out of immediate danger, but isn’t really good at long-term thinking and the next step is often not even there. Alexis in costume and out of costume are not different at all, he is always on fire and if anyone is going to make a jokes in the face of danger, it is him.

Captain Gravity aka. Dean Diamond

Buoyant and brimming with positivity, Dean has always stared down adversity and walked away smiling. He’s grown up in a most harsh way and it has only made him stronger and more tolerant than most. His eagerness to help and be part of something greater is always spurred on by his childhood desire to be a hero. He has unquestioning loyalty and holds truth and justice close to his heart. At times of stress, he confides in his friends who always seem to help him get his mind back at ease. A good, honest person to a fault but spills over into naive and oblivious. Ruled 100% by his heart and often disengages the brain.

Flicker & Flashback

Flicker Arrogant, twitchy and easily agitated, Flicker is a peevish man dedicated to his job and never removes his mask. Has a very high opinion of himself and is prone to overreact at the smallest things. The more annoyed he gets, the higher pitch his screaming becomes. Stubborn and overly eager to prove a point, he takes complaints and insensitive questions very personally and will cut his nose off to spite his face, so to speak. Hates being interrupted, always believes he knows best and does not accept defeat. Believes himself completely undefeatable and is very likely to make excuses or demand rematches in events of his loss. Unfortunately for Flicker, his partner has a habit of babbling and may give away secrets or juicy tidbits that could be the key to his defeat.

Flashback A hoity-toity snob with a very curt way of speaking and handling himself, Flashback always believes he has the answer to all of life’s problems and takes a slow and steady approach to life. Overly calm and deadpan, he frequently interrupts, corrects and otherwise irritates his twitchy partner with his so-called knowledge. Just as stubborn and eager to prove points as his partner, Flashback takes a more personally offended approach and is likely to become short and snotty if he believe someone is belittling his talents or accusing him of something. Has a strong fondness for exploring life’s little joys and can get sidetracked by thoughts popping into his head or remembering something he thought he’d forgotten.

Bulwark aka. Wyatt Lyons

Jovial, smiling and nurturing, Wyatt takes great care in taking care of his allies, especially the Cardinal. He is a quiet, contemplative man that takes great pleasure in sharing and teaching others. He keeps his calm, even repressed, which leads to a build-up of doubt and fears for occasion break-downs, but he tries to keep it all to himself and not worry anyone. He is supportive and believes in people, especially those who don’t believe in themselves and has an unyielding amount of patience. His belief in others has a notable downside when his faith is misplaced, which has been known to happen. Even with his failures, he continues to believe in the good of people and being a willing guide for those who need him.

Cardinal aka. Victor ???

Cold and dismissive, Victor tries to keep people at arm’s length because he has ample experience losing everything. He analyzes and then over-analyzes, always looking for problems to the point of being accused of wanting there to be problems. He deals in facts and cuts to the bone with his precision, sparing no one’s feelings. Although direct in matters impersonal, he is incredibly private with regards to himself, being reticent to give even the slightest bit of information about himself. Doesn’t do small talk, occasionally makes jokes, the jokes are always dry and sometimes, it needs to be said that they are jokes. He is always “on” and alert, seeing him even slightly relaxed, slouching in his chair or speaking in anything other than monotone gravel will feel like a huge victory to any character nearby.

Rahul Amani

Born with a natural talent for figuring things out and discovered a passion for scientific pursuits at an early age. Rahul’s natural ability to see things from an outside and purely objective point of view was excellent for solving problems of a mechanical nature but not so much people. Has a hard time convincing people that his suggestions are the best ones. Despite his knack for solving problems and choosing the most effective solution, Rahul is ruled by the heart, making him an odd component in Eyes. He’s scientific in mind, choosing the sensible options and opting to work with the smartest people even if they don’t get along, but he goals and ambitions always come from a place of trying to do good and making things better. Accustomed to being told he was right after the fact, Rahul doesn’t take things personally and is a bit of a joker deep down. Unafraid to speak his mind and doesn’t pull punches in arguments, not that he means it.

Darkfuse

Darkfuse is a tough cookie who always has his guard up and keeps a cold, silent approach to people. He doesn’t make friends easy and is highly introspective, keeping everything to himself. He speaks in few words and is a keen listener, much to everyone’s surprise. Highly attentive and quietly considerate, he much prefers to work behind the scenes. Avoids direct conflict and confrontation and resists help just as much as Polychrome does. Though he loves his family deeply, being adopted he will always feel rejected and worthless in some way, downplaying any praise and falling to silent melancholy. He has a good heart but is buried behind a very prickly wall.

Polychrome aka. Belle Brighton

Bright and cheery with a strong passion for learning, Belle has always known she’s going places. The constant reminders that she’s still seen as a child and not there yet grate on her and fuel her unbreakable independent streak. Coddling and apprehension directed towards her drive her to take risks and fly off half-cocked. She is very secure in her intelligence and comes off as cold and snooty to other kids her age. She finds herself idolizing adults and has her best conversations with scientific-minded adults fueled by ideas for the future. Her high standards for others makes it near impossible for her to make friends, she always tries to outdo herself and show the world just how smart and tough she is. Her internal struggles over wanting to be something more weigh heavy on her mind, filling her with doubts. Becoming a Super was the greatest thing that could’ve happened to her.

Seven of Hearts aka. Vanessa Valentine

Vanessa is outgoing and loves to help people, even if that means getting involved without permission. Despite her love of problem-solving, she does everything she can to distract her from confronting her own problems. She is incredibly compassionate and a huge team player, valuing group harmony and connecting to team-mates on personal levels. Her life may be a mess, her own wants and needs all over the place, but she makes sure her friends and family are always taken care of. A nervous hero, who plays it by the book and afraid to stray from the straight and narrow. She becomes frazzled and disoriented at spontaneous action, and that often leads to her throwing herself in harm’s way to protect those around her, blowing up afterwards. She has a habit of whining and fixating on criticism directed at her, needing reassurance before she’s ready to get back to work.
