I like pokemon. And drawing. And youtube. And also just life in general. Yay. I'll be doing speedpaint videos, hopefully once a week, but I need ideas. Why is life so busy?

Between school work, preparing for graduation, and getting sick partway through the week, I haven’t had time for anything.  I might still post a new speedpaint later today, but I’m thinking I might just hold off until next week instead.  I’m thinking I might start posting some random doodles throughout the week too without an associate video.  They won’t be as detailed, just random little things.  Like with the speedpaints though, if you’re interested in seeing me draw something, go ahead and leave a suggestion through my ask box.  Same rules apply, so read those first.  I’ll probably just reply directly to those since I won’t be making them into a video.

Speedpaint requested by starlightnightskies.  This one was fun (even if it took so long).  I tried doing highlights before shading after I colored the Gyarados with it’s shaded colors instead of the base colors.  Okay, so this is up like eight and a half hours late, so I’ll just go ahead and post the full picture too.

Speedpaint update for this week

I know it’s later than last week, but the new speedpaint should go up later today (hopefully).  I got behind on some recording with trying to do that and school work.  I was planning on getting up early to do it, but I wasn’t thinking at the time that I had planned to do some volunteer work at the fire station this morning.  That took priority.

As always, if you want to submit a request for some free artwork that I could do a speedpaint video with, read the speedpaint rules linked above. Just send me an ask with the details and I’ll be uploading one every Saturday.  The request from last week and the one from this week were both pokemon related, but I can do other things too.

Whyyyyy (dumb short story I guess)

“Oh, I see you’re trying to get a channel going!” Said Youtube to the newbie wannabe youtuber.

“Yes, I am.” The newbie replied.

“That’s great!  Why don’t I give you  a helping hand?” Youtube said, ignoring the fact that it is a piece of nonsentient software for the second time in this story now.

“Oh, thank you very much!” The newbie youtuber exclaimed. “How exactly do you plan on helping me?”

“Well,” Youtube began, “I think it might be helpful if I make your videos take 3 hours to upload.  How does that sound?”

“...That... What?  No, that’s literally not a helpful thing.  That is a distinctly unhelpful thing you are doing.  Please do not do this unhelpful thing.” The newbie pleaded.

It’s been storming here for the past couple of days now.  I think it’s giving me connection problems.  Really frustrating, but what can you do?

Finally got a new mic! :D  The quality’s a little better than before and it blocks out breathing a lot better.  And of course I was so busy playing around with it, that I was late putting the video together!  So, yeah, that’ll be late but at least no one will hear me breathing anymore.

Also considering trying out face cam later.  Not completely decided on it yet.

I think I might just stop using Twitter.  I don’t know why, but it just feels oddly like it takes a lot more dedication than Tumblr.  I’ll probably just keep it around to update whenever one of my videos goes up.

Alright, time to get productive again.  I was hesitant of making videos because my laptop’s been acting up, but since I don’t have the means to get a new one (or an actual computer for that matter) I may as well just press forward.
