Elizabeth Ki or Ki Jieun (korean: 기 지은; born March 6th, 2001), known mononymously as Jieun, is a fictional British-Korean singer, dancer, producer, songwriter and rapper. In March 2018 she made her debut as a member of the co-ed group Stray Kids, under JYP Entertainment.

Jieun used to share a room with Jeongin and Jisung but now that the group has moved, she has her own room. She lives in the ‘aesthetic dorm’ with Felix, Jeongin, Minho and Seungmin and her room lives up to the name. Her room is filled with cute things in pink, and everything looks very bright. Her bed is pushed up to a window just like her desk. Her room Is pretty small, but she has enough space for a bed, a desk, a wardrobe and a small dresser. And of course, there is also enough space for her lizard Pebbles.

Jieun loves plushies. So, she has a lot of them. From Winnie the Puh to Stitch. She owns so many different Plushies from movies, shows and books, especially Disney. They are either placed on her wardrobe or in her bed. Some are gifts from members, fans or family. Others were purchased in different countries or cities as memories. And of course, her signature animal the tiger needs to be there too.

Jieun got her first piercings in 2011. Her first piercings were one lobe piercing on each ear. In 2017 she got another set of lobe piercings. In 2019 she gets the lower helix on her left ear done. The last two upper lobe piercings on her right ear were done in 2020.

In 2023 Jieun got a semicolon with a heart design on her left inner wrist. A semicolon represents personal strength to overcome internal struggle. It raises awareness for suicide prevention, depression, addiction, and help stop mental health stigma. A semicolon is a symbol of hope. Jieun had gone through a hard time in 2022 and this was her way of showing that she got through it.

Jieun owns a lizard. She doesn’t support exotic pet shops and therefore got him from a shelter. She was visiting the shelter with Felix when she saw him. She obviously didn't adopt him immediately and instead started to prepare. She build him a home and made space for him before adopting him finally.

Pebbles
Pebbles was a year old when Jieun adopted him in 2022. He got his name from the many spots on his body that Jieun lovingly calls Pebs or Pebbles, hence his name. But Pebbles has many nicknames. Dino, Slider, Freckles, Spot and Little-foot being some of them. The fandom has seen Pebbles many, many times in social media posts, livestreams, and Vlogs. Pebbles has his own fandom at this point. By 2023 he is two years old.

[Parents / Single Father – Lee Minhyun & Oliver (Junhyuk) Ki]
Jieun’s mother Lee Minhyun was born in 1979 in Gimpo, South Korea. She grew up with a single mother and as an only child. She was a good student and always loved music and art. In 1995 she auditioned for the newly founded SM Entertainment and was accepted.
Jieun’s father Ki Junhyuk, or Oliver Ki, was born in 1978 in Salford near Manchester in England. He grew up with his british mother, korean father and a twin brother. He is incredibly talented in math and is a pretty technical thinking person. At 16 years old he did an exchange year in Korea.
The two met in 1994 in school and immediately started hanging out. Junhyuk was adopted into Minhyun’s friend group, and it didn’t take long for them to develop feelings for each other. However, there was one problem. Minhyun’s dream of becoming an idol. She was technically not even allowed to date as a trainee and therefore the two kept it a secret.
Eventually Minhyun was told she could debut in an upcoming girl group in 1997. Minhyun had to face the difficult choice of either living her dream as an idol or openly loving the person she wants. And she chose the latter. Leaving SM Entertainment and therefore the entertainment industry to get married to Junhyuk in the same year, 1997.
The two moved from Korea to the small town of Rey in East Sussex, England. Here Minhyun gave birth to a baby girl, named Ki Minji or Sarah Ki, in the year 1998. She started work as a sing and dance teacher in a small local studio and Junhyuk started work as a police officer.
A whole four years later in 2001 their second daughter and last child, Ki Jieun, or Elizabeth Ki, was born. Their little family was perfect. They had everything they needed.
In 2008 tragedy ripped Minhyun out of her family as she died in a robbery with only 29 years old. She leaves behind her grieving husband and two daughters.
From then on, Junhyuk had to raise his daughters alone. While Minji was ten years old, Jieun was merely seven. Only a year later, his youngest daughter Jieun wanted to join a Kpop company. He was skeptical at first but in hopes that she could live the life Minhyun never could, he let her go.
The family had struggled with finances from the beginning but especially after Minhyun’s death. After that, Junhyuk took on extra shifts and they needed support from friends. Jieun’s trainee life was filled with decisions about whether she should get food or a bus ticket.

{Sister – Ki Minji (Sarah Ki)}
Jieun’s older sister Ki Minji, or Sarah Ki, was born in 1998 in Rey, East Sussex. She was an extraordinary student and had inherited her father’s business skills.
Minji takes after her father and has the same skills such as management, math, and strategic thinking. From a young age Minji has planned and developed things. Everything from craft projects to smart techniques for selling cookies, she’s been a mastermind from the beginning.
2009, after her mother’s death and her sister leaving, she was really struggling. In order to cope with all her intense feelings, she started to work on making her dreams reality. She planned out countless ideas for products and businesses until, in 2015, her and her father finally managed to open a small cosmetic business. They had turned Jieun’s old room into a workroom to create the products, and the garage turned into a storage and shipping room.
It took about three years of hard work and social media marketing until the company blew up in 2018. But once it blew up, it really did. Within a year, they had to expand twice and were able to buy a full laboratory and business building. In 2022, at only 24 years old, Minji was the CEO of her own cosmetic company with 9 factories all over the world and thousands of employees. Over the following years the business only grew.
In 2018 she met a chinese model named Haoyu who modeled for her company and fell in love with him. They started to date in the same year and eventually moved together. Since then, they have been living together and while Minji still leads the company, Haoyu continues his model career.
Jieun and Minji are complete opposites in most ways. Minji being almost 100% her father, while Jieun couldn’t be more like her mother. Their relationship wasn’t always easy. They had drifted apart after their mother’s death, both dealing with the grief in different ways and not understanding the other’s way. Nonetheless, in the end they always come back together.
Jieun has admired her older sister for as long as she can remember. Minji’s different approach to life has fascinated Jieun. She always wanted to be like her older sister. Not her lifestyle or even her logical approach to life, but her strength. Although they often disagree on things, Jieun with her emotional and passionate mindset and Minji with a rational and logical approach, they truly love each other.
Minji has wanted to take care of Jieun even when they were still kids. She cares about her sister and wishes to protect her from all harm. But since both sisters are thousands of kilometers away from each other, that has proved to be difficult. However, she never wants to lose sight of her sister and they call a lot.
