13. Has a fic ever made you cry?

So, there was a long post-col fic on AO3 that I read that I cannot for the life of me remember the name of, and it’s buried so deeply in my history that I doubt I’ll ever be able to find it again, but that’s okay, because Scully died at the end and I wasn’t expecting it, so the ending chapter of Mulder growing old without her destroyed my soul.

14. What tropes/elements/scenarios get you the worst?

Any situation where they’re separated and they almost come back together but they just miss each other breaks my heart.

26. Any kinks that you don’t want to try in real life (but are still hot in a fanfic)?

Honestly, most anything I’ve found hot in a fic is something I’ve either done or would do, given the opportunity!

Song of the Day - Bishop at the Gate, Blyth Power

I found this completely by accident. One half of The Kills played in this band for a while, so I read their Wiki page. Steeleye Span are listed as an influence, and I fucking love the Span (I know it's not cool to like them more than Fairport, but they are my favourite folk rock band. I grew up listening to them, I love all things Span and Maddy Prior). I thought two band connections warranted a listen and, what do you know, I really liked what I could find on Youtube. I'm not very familiar with punk folk, but I definitely like this more than The Pogues or Flogging Molly. Plus, it has a finger clicking solo, so what more could you ask for?
