“Did I miss anything?” She kept one arm wrapped around him, gently rubbing his back. She’s playing Arkham Asylum but on mute so she can talk with him.

A shake of his head and a content sigh. “Nope. I had a minute where I couldn’t control myself but I think I’m okay now.” He is for the most part. His temper is still a bit wild, but at least the change is under control.

Gwen suddenly jumped up when Cam growled, just as Mary looked like she was gonna to wing a ball of fire at him - the puppy started nuzzling him affectionately. That made Mary blink a few times and watch a bit before moving for the door, “I’ll be outside..” Despite her being freezing cold, better than dealing with an annoyed beta. Gwen continued to nuzzle Cam and started licking his face, whining softly.

Around ten minutes later, Jake walks out of the house after her. His hands are stuffed into the pockets of his torn up jeans and he leans against the wall next to her. “Sorry ‘bout that,” he murmured head tilting to the side as he watches her. “He’s muzzled ‘n I locked him in my room. He should be fine in ‘n hour.” There’s a pause before he speaks again, his voice taking on a worried edge. “He’s been losin’ control a lot more often. The big dog’s worried.”

Half-way to his room, she turned right around and came back to kick him in the foot. “You touch anything else of mine an’ you won’t be seein’ that pup for a while. I will legit enroll her in doggy daycare.” She spun back around as Gwen whimpered, the puppy trying to hide her little face in the front of the hoodie. Mary swiped the metallica hoodie off Cam’s bed and pulled it on, grumbling faintly.

His growl turned from playful to angry, his expression contorting to annoyance. His lip pulled back from his teeth, eyes changing from their normal color to the sharp green they became when he was about to shift. “The fuck you think you are girl? Jus’ cuz you’re fuckin’ my alpha ya get ta order me ‘round? Ya fuckin’ gave it ta me. Hit me again, see the fuck happens.”

“… I’m not exactly sure how you fit in that to begin with, it’s a medium and you seem more on the large side of things…” Gwen wiggled against Cam’s face, making a happy noise as she did so. Mary made a disgruntled sound, “Yes I do. Where is it? Sidenote: I just purchased injustice: gods among us again cause I lost my other one … so now you can watch me play again.”

A shrug and a tilt of his head. “I’m slimmer than I look,” he answered. A playful growl slipped from him as he wrapped his arms around Gwen, nipping at the puppy’s ear. “It’s on my bed. Oh you didn’t lose it. I took it. It’s in my closet.”
