It had only been two days since Aurora arrived on Neverland, it had been a disorienting experience to say the very least, one moment she was falling asleep in a cozy bed after defeating Maleficent then the next she woke up on the shore.
She had been trying to familiarize herself with the island so she wouldn't get lost while she was stuck here, however long that was.
Aurora reluctantly took a break from her exploring after noticing how tired she was and sat down on a log with her back resting against a tree.
Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed someone coming towards her.
" What do you want?"
Her voice sounded weary and tired rather than loud and demanding which was what she had been trying to go for
nothing was familiar to the young woman, emily spent most of her time wandering around, trying to see if she could find a place to sit or someone to talk to. she’d run out of energy this morning, and she wanted to find a place to sit and reread the same book over and over, one of the only connections she had to her past life left.
she had found her way to a clearing when a voice called out, a little too close for her comfort. looking to the side, emily saw the poor girl, who seemed to be just as miserable as the other, and could only sigh in response. “n-nothing, well, i just wanted to find a place to sit... are you alright? this place is weird, i know, but i’m not an enemy, i’m neutral.” she mumbled, holding the book tightly in her hands. she didn’t want to scare the other off, she knew how terrifying this place was, and she would take any kind of friendship she could get.
As she heard the the other woman out, Aurora felt a bit bad for somewhat snapping at her when she first seen her.
Plus it was good to have allies with you when in a strange place that was one of the many lessons the fairies taught her while she was growing up, even though it would be years until she actually got to use them.
" I'm sorry, I'm just on edge from all of this."
Aurora apologized to make a better second impression on the one across from her and sincere apologies are a lot better than fake ones, a lot less flimsy and less likely to fall apart.
