Litha is the longest day of the year. You don’t need a bonfire or a big ritual to honor it. Just let the light touch you. Litha is a celebration of warmth, growth, and the peak of the sun’s power.
Simple Ways to Celebrate
Sunlight offerings — Step outside for a moment and let the sun warm your hands. Offer a thought of thanks.
Herbal blessings — Work with whatever you have: rosemary, mint, chamomile, lavender. Hold them, breathe with them, let them bless your space.
Water magic — Charge a bowl of water in the sun. Use it to cleanse your tools, your altar, or your energy.
Fire in small (or big) ways — A candle counts. A match counts. A spark is still a spark.

Foraging is so underrated. I'm so grateful I live close to nature. I get most of my herbs and flowers for free and dry them above my working altar.
Therapist gave me some baby spider plants! Time for more plant wards!!! Spider plants are great for bringing harmony in your life
What's the difference between a book of shadows and a grimoire?
A book of shadows is your magical diary. You might write spells you've cast, dreams, tarot card pulls, etc. It's more personal.
A grimoire is your magical textbook. You might write colours, planets, herbs, and their correspondences. (I refer to my grimoire all of the time!) It's less personal.
Do I need these?
No, they're helpful for sure, but do what feels right to you.

Do I have to worship a deity?
No! Many don't! I personally like to work with Gaia and Hekate, but that doesn't mean you have to as well.
