i genuinely don’t understand why metalheads feel the need to be so mean to eachother . in the end we all still like the same kind of music. just because someone else likes a different kind of metal genre doesn’t mean they’re a poser, they just like something else

metalheads that bully other metalheads (and non-metalheads) for their music tastes are the real posers. go in a hello kitty battlevest for all i care and listen to hatsune miku, and there is nothing more metal than that.

another thing i would like to add is metalcore/deathcore slander is uncalled for. its metal and its punk, not neither since its a fusion genre. all the purists calling it fake and "not metal" can go fuck themselves. wait until they learn that thrash and death were heavily influenced by hardcore too. once they find out, they will start ranting how megadeth is not real heavy metal or something. metal purists cannot grasp the fact that music changes, evolves, and merges to make new genres.
