#nana's reading recs #chinese novel #After My Ex-Boyfriend’s White Moonlight Proposed to Me #AMEBWMPM #77/103 chaps in #spoilers #deadass took like 5 chaps for ml to look at mc and go 'my soulmate' even if it was the 2nd meeting #their relationship is cute and mc is more go with the flow but has his reasons for holding back #also fuck the mc's homophobic mom like he deserves so much better and ml is giving him that #ml is also so in love like when he confesses hes like 'yeah were gonna get married and live together forever'#its an okay read and the translations are pretty decent its just that it feels stagnant??? after awhile #the writing just doesnt have that oomph that keeps you reading you know #especially since yes new issues are shown but the way mc handles it is predictable #you expect it and while there is character growth its kinda meh #but kudos to mc for getting a therapist tho

I deem Tyrant Wife Pampering Diary a solid 6.5/10 in my opinion

#nana's reading recs #danmei #spoilers #chinese novel #danmei spoilers #danmei novel #Tyrant Wife Pampering Diary #TWPD #it wasnt too long just 80 chaps and the translation was pretty decent #not overly angsty but pretty cute i guess #its like one of those filler novels you read that isnt really all that heavy on plot or too political with all those underhanded schemes #the mpreg isnt really overly described but mostly mentioned offhandedly #mc and ml deadass handled all their shit in the beginning so their wasnt really a conflict and it was basically smooth sailing for them #a few bumps in the road but still #hmmmm #kinda disappointed but still it was pretty good otherwise #now that i think about it the character growth was meh #would i read it again? maybe but only if i had nothing else to read that piqued my interest #i should really rate all the novels i read to keep track of them
