-> Chance seemed to be down in the kitchen, sitting sideways in one of the old wooden chairs with one leg laying down flat over the other, hand resting on his knee. He was yammer on to a certain soldier who didn't look too thrilled to've been the chosen victim of this. -> But it seems like the delivery boy's voice caught the gambler's attention, making him look away and flash that usual smirk. "Well, well! My favorite little delivery boy! Whatcha need, Ellie?"
He reached the bottom of the stairwell he had been coming down from and took a seat across from the two sentinels, nervously fiddling with his fingers a little.
“H-Hey there, the two of you! Um- I just wanted to ask you something, Chance. It won’t take too long!
"I'm free for ya, Ellie!" -> He bounces up from his seat and adjusts his fedora, heading over to the pizza delivery boy with his usual charming smile. "Whatcha need, pal?"
“So… I was thinking!”
Elliot smiled back at Chance, continuing to fiddle nervously with his fingers. He hoped what he was about to suggest didn’t sound pathetic!
“After everything’s over… And we go back home… I wanted to see if you wanted to meet my parents! I want to introduce my friends here to them… I know they’d like to meet you.”
-> Oh! Such an odd thing to ask someone! Chance chuckled, crossing his arms over his chest with another flash of that usual smirk he always wore. "'Course, Ellie! How could I deny my favorite little pizzeria worker any request? It's just... A bit of a strange one if you ask me, but I'm down for it! I'd love to meet the people who made a sweetie like you." -> He ruffled the other's hair, unable to suppress the chuckle that leaked out from his throat.
“O-Of course there’s no pressure if you don’t want to come, Chance! I was just thinking- I think of you as my, um, well, friend, and I thought it would be nice if I could introduce you to my parents one day. Just so they, um, don’t worry too much about where I went… there were people there with me, y’know?”
He fiddled with his fingers even more anxiously, praying the words that spilt out of his mouth didn’t sound too idiotic to Chance. He still considered Chance to be way too cool for him.
“N-Noob’s going to come along too…”
"Be more than happy too, Ellie." -> He chuckles and takes off his fedora, holding it to his chest. "'Maybe I could bring you and Noob to meet my own parents! My mother and father are well mannered people despite all of the shit they've gotten up to in life. I think nana would adore you honestly."
“R-Really? I wouldn’t mind that too much myself…”
Elliot smiled a little more, letting go of the tension in his shoulders. He continued to fiddle with his fingers- although with less intensity than before now.
“Your entire family seems really cool, Chance… It’s almost a little intimidating, haha.”
"My nana's a real sweet old soul, y'know? Kinda old lady who'd ask ya if you wanted her to make you cookies or whatever. My poppa on the other hand is uh..." -> He scratches at his cheek, clicking his tongue. "Well you don't gotta worry about him. He wouldn't wanna interact with anyone anyways. Unless you're my nana."
“I’ll keep that in mind for when I meet your family! I think I’d like your nana a whole lot as well… I’d hope she likes me. Can she make soft cookies?”
He curiously tilted his head to one side. He personally wasn’t too big a fan of the usual cookie texture.

"Neither does she. My poppa likes 'em hard but he eats the soft ones purely because it makes my nana happy. He may uh- Not be the most law-abiding citizen or whatever but he'd do anything to make nana happy." "I've got a big ol' house in the upper part of Robloxia. The real fancy shmancy place. Lived in one of those rich gated communities or whatever you'd call them."
“Oh! I’ve lived near the pizzeria my dad owns all my life- w-which is sort of a good thing, because it doesn’t really take as much time for me to get to work. I like my job, you know?”
He lets out a nervous laugh.
“My family might’ve been rich, but we never lived in these really rich communities. But we never really had too little or too much space, so it wasn’t exactly an issue. My parents liked to be real smart about their money… They taught my sister and I to be honest about it as well!”

"Here you go!" -> The survivalist reached into their little hip bag and pulled out a medkit, holding it out to the support with a smile. "I-I found this while looking around that graveyard... Uh- Yorick's? I-I thought if anyone needed this it would be you...!"
"Oh, thank you tons, Noob! This'll come real in handy, I was getting sort of sick of eating my own pizza all the time... Assuming that could even do anything, that is."
He eagerly takes the medkit and slips it into his bag, bouncing on his toes a little once the job had been done.
"It's absolute blasphemy... I had to get stuck here with nothing but pizza. Just great..."
-> The survivalist flushed a little and looked away, tapping their pointer fingers together. The survivalist always got a little flustered over praise. "I uh... I-I always have a medkit or two on hand...! I was looking around Yorick's and saw it resting on one of the gravestones there so... I picked it up!" -> They reach up and mess with their hard hat a little before continuing. "I-I thought if anyone would need it most it would be you...! You're our healer and all that."
"Huh. I'd say that was strange, but almost anything can happen when you're in this world, apparently."
Elliot shrugs.
"I could've really used the medkit though, so thank you for that! You're too kind to all of us, really."
"I-I like being helpful...! I'm a survivalist after all! My job's to help out when I'm needed to most and just... Live. Live and make sure I don't gotta come rushing to you for heals!" -> They giggle a little, a touch stiff and awkward. But Noob was also a little stiff and awkward, weren't they? "I uh- How have you been? I don't really get to talk to you ever! Downtime is rare here..."

He smiled at Noob and pushed his visor up and out of the way of his face.
“I’ve been alright, though… I should begin a petition for more downtime. We’re deserving of more downtime!”
"Y-Yeah...! M-Maybe you could talk to Shedletsky and Builderman about it... T-They're very nice even if I don't super- Super talk to them a lot! I-I like Shedletsky's energy..." -> They fidget with the studded bracelet around their wrist, lightly tapping and rubbing at the studs. "I think it would be nice if we all just... Got to sit around together and talk maybe... Or well- Most of us talk, I-I'm not one for talking to too many people..."
"Yeah, that sounds nice... We'd-We'd get more time to know each other, too. The only people I've really talked to are you and Chance... I know a bit about the others, but I'd love to try and get to know them more, y'know?"
"I-I like talking to people. Getting to know about them and their interests, making friends, all that stuff... But I understand too if people would rather not! Not everyone is open to it either..."
"I just..." -> They paused and rubbed their arm. Fuck, they shouldn't really go into their problems, should they? "I-I'm just not the most social of people...! I've always been kinda quiet, y'know? My uh.... My old best friend would do most of the talking for us. He was always better at that than me..."

Elliot casually cracked his knuckles, tapping his foot against the ground.
“I always preferred being on my own, actually. Everyone else was always too loud… And messy. I liked sitting outside and watching the clouds the best.”

"How do you work customer service then...? Like- At the pizzeria your family owns? Doesn't that require like... A lotta talking?"

“My dad hooked me onto it! He always told anyone who was in my life that I was a good kid, and that didn’t change at all when he helped me get hired, hehe.”
“He was always the main motivator in my life… helped me become more confident. I still struggle a little, but I’m doing better than I was a few years ago. He helped me with a lotta stuff, helping me get a job at his pizzeria was just one of them.”
There was a hint of admiration to his voice as he spoke. He looked up to his dad a lot… And reasonably, too.
"Your dad sounds cool...!" -> They smiled, their little freckles seeming to stretch across theri cheeks as they did so. "My parents were uh... Just parents! I guess! They were good and all by they kinda let me do a lot of things by myself unless I like... NEEDED someone else, y'know?"
“Yeah, I get that. My mom and dad are both pretty cool!”
“Hey, maybe… When everything blows over, I can introduce you to my mom and dad. I know I’d definitely want to introduce Chance as one of my friends, so I’ll ask them about it when I can… but I’d like it if I could bring you along too!”
Elliot fiddled with his fingers a little, looking down at his lap. He hoped Chance wouldn’t be too put off by the idea, but he wasn’t too sure about Noob.
-> Oh! They weren't expecting this! They flush a little, rubbing the back of their neck as they smile shyly. "I-I don't think your parents would be to impressed by me...! B-But sure, I'd love to do that! T-The uh... Only parents I've ever met were-" -> They paused, fidgeting with their fingers. No, they didn't want to think about Guest right now. "I could bring Tac... I-If your family likes cats!"
“It’s okay! I don’t think my family would mind… We own a cat back home, too. I’m not much special either, so I’m sure my parents will like you! There’s nothing to worry about.”
He beamed at Noob, closing his eyes.
“You and Chance can both come together!”
-> Noob flushes a little more and reaches up, adjusting the hard hat on their head. Builderman had gifted them that little hat at some point in the past when Noob had uh... Gotten into a little accident! "M-Maybe our kitties could be friends...! Tac's uh... Tac's always been a little weird with other cats... Me and my parents could never really figure out why..." -> They fidget with their own fingers, trying to avoid eye contact.
“Maybe they could… Our kitten’s named Applesauce! Her full name is actually Lord Applesauce Whiskers the Twenty-Second… my sister named her that when she was half asleep one day. But we just call her Applesauce… For obvious reasons!”
He couldn’t help but laugh a bit at the ridiculous memory. He found himself thanking the stars that Applesauce hadn’t actualy begun recognising that as her name!

"Oh, thank you tons, Noob! This'll come real in handy, I was getting sort of sick of eating my own pizza all the time... Assuming that could even do anything, that is."
He eagerly takes the medkit and slips it into his bag, bouncing on his toes a little once the job had been done.

“He was always the main motivator in my life… helped me become more confident. I still struggle a little, but I’m doing better than I was a few years ago. He helped me with a lotta stuff, helping me get a job at his pizzeria was just one of them.”
There was a hint of admiration to his voice as he spoke. He looked up to his dad a lot… And reasonably, too.
"Your dad sounds cool...!" -> They smiled, their little freckles seeming to stretch across theri cheeks as they did so. "My parents were uh... Just parents! I guess! They were good and all by they kinda let me do a lot of things by myself unless I like... NEEDED someone else, y'know?"
