I am interested in your Persona 6 ideas. Do you have any more details on the various party members or indeed the overall setting/overall plot?
Ehehehe yes I do!! Thereās a lot to unpack that Iāll probably write when I get the chance, including individual character profiles and whatnot, but hereās the basics of stuff.
The story is set in current day (around 2026-7 bc persona is weird with dates) In the Okubo area of Kyoto. The protagonist Ao moves to Kyoto to live with his grandfather and cousin after being able to leave his unstable mother. I know most protags donāt have as much backstory, but itās my sequel and I get to make the rules.
The story is themed around death/rebirth. The shadow realm takes the form of a vast cavern beneath the city, as above so below kind of stuff.
Hopefully that makes sense lol
Pebble STL files are up on my Ko-fi!
The STLs for printing your very own little baby Eridian! Each pebble has posable limbs held in place by elastics. They're designed to be pai
Forgot to post abt it here, but Iāve got files for my pebble dolls on my Kofi. For only 2 bucks you can get access to these and all my other 3d print files I use!
The models are designed to be painted, but they work just fine without! All you need is some superglue, some 1mm elastics, and tweezers. The illustrated instructions come with the files.
Design refs and notes for the personas of my main P6 trio. Theyāve gone through a lot of trial and error so Iād love to hear your opinions on them, idk how āpersonaā they feel. Which is tricky since the designs can vary so much from character to character or game to game.
The last of the personas (for now). Iāll admit these guys kinda stretch the limits of the canon persona design but fuck it this is my persona 6 and I play with the drawings how I like.
Koromaru was going to be more in the foreground but I quickly realized I cannot draw dogs for the fucking life of me.
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
Ofc I decide to write this when P6 gets leaked but Iām still going forward with this idea because I love it too much.
Ngl Iāve been very tempted to rewrite one of my fics but replace Makoto with Kotone and put -portable at the end.
Cherry blossoms
Aigis and her little clone baby going to see some flowers.
After at least six prototypes and way too much time spent in tinkercad, behold: a pebble!
This little guy is the first of many. 3d printed with elastic ball joints and rocky-feeling paint, Iām so excited to finally have a pebble that not only looks good but can be posed!
Next versions may have magnets on their palms to better grip/hold things but idk if Iāll implement that just yet. For now Iām happy with the little fuckers and can finally do the fun painting instead of yelling at tinkercad.
It sucks we donāt see much of Erid bc thinking about their material culture and crafts is so fuckin cool. I mostly focused on materials like fiber, metal and ceramic. Xenonite is cool as hell but I feel like itās a more recent development, sorta like their version of plastics. I feel like ceramics would be a popular building/making material. Given the heat of their planet and their own resistance I could imagine Eridians inventing loads of ceramic techniques youād never really see on earth. Also gold being seen as a ātrash metalā bc itās so soft at high temps that itās only really used for circuitry and childrenās art. Grace is shocked to see little pebbles playing with huge lumps of gold as if it were play-dough.
Iāve seen some people making PHM Avatar crossovers so ofc I had to design Naāvi Rocky
I debated if I should make him a reef or forest naāvi but I decided on the latter bc scarification is cool and would prolly fit better with his canon markings. It sucks that we donāt see much scarification outside of the Mangkwan bc itās really beautiful.
As Iāve been making progress with my baby eridian figures Iāve been debating how I want to do them. Iāve seen two variations of the design and canāt really figure out which one I want to go with. Should I make them stubbier and rounder, or make them closer to adults?
Which version do you prefer?
pebble 1
pebble 2
Went down the bloodymary rabbit hole last night bc my grandmas dog kept me up and this is the result.
I based his carapace on cinnabar bc not only is it bright red and very pretty, itās the main source of liquid mercury aka Eridian blood, and has been associated with immortality in ancient China. It just felt so perfect hehe.
Thought abt Eridian genetics/variations. Also an excuse to draw more pebbles with toys.
Finally made portraits of all my P6 cast
Not the proudest with the result, a lot of them need some tweaking and Iām not even sure how āpersonaā their designs read, but persona as a series is hella inconsistent so eh
Third attempt at trying to make an Eridian figure. 3d printed the components and connected them with wire. Hoped that some string wrapped around the joints would work but itās not as sturdy as I hoped. I tried using rubber bands BJD style but those didint allow for the same level of flexibility. If you guys have any suggestions Iād love to hear them!
Very blank-slate desk today
Working on posable Eridian figures (pebbles my beloved). Originally planned to use ball joints but wire with some fabric In the middle ended up being the way to go. The illu and Thanator are almost done, just need to be baked and painted. Idk if all the avatar figures will be polymer clay but if I can find a kiln Iāll be able to sculpt with regular clay (which is faster and cheaper pound for pound.)
