WISCONSIN ROAD TRIP DAY THREE (slightly late)

Yesterday we started our day in Nashville Tennessee and hit the road at 9am. We drove through Tennessee and Kentucky and they were both really really pretty. We took a lunch break as soon as we crossed into Illinois, stopping in Metropolis and eating at a Quiznos. We saw some fun things while we were there too

We drove on the interstate for a few more hours before we stopped at a travel center because we got separated and wanted to meet back up and I saw this there

Then we drove on a bunch of backroads for a while and they were so janky and narrow I thought we were going to get into a car accident. But lucky for us we survived and made it to Decatur Illinois!

We checked into our hotel and then went and got food from a cool local place. I got a burger and Owey got fish but I can’t remember what type of fish it was. Both of us really liked it. Then we walked around downtown and saw some cute stuff

After that, we headed to a nearby park and just walked around and admired the lake.

Then we headed back to the hotel to go to bed. Now it is morning and we are heading to Owey’s apartment in Wisconsin! Pretty uneventful road trip overall but I guess that’s a good thing when you’re already a bit stressed.

WISCONSIN ROAD TRIP DAY TWO

We started the day in Florida at my parents’ house then drove to Montgomery Alabama where we had lunch at Subway. It was good because I like subway and sandwiches 🔥

Then we drove further up into Tennessee where we had to stop because it started storming. But luckily for us it stopped storming pretty shortly after that and we were able to get right back on the road

We got to our hotel in Nashville and then we got some chicken 🐓 🔥 because that’s just what you do in Nashville ok

WISCONSIN ROAD TRIP DAY ONE

We put all my stuff into two cars and drove to my parents house today. Pic of my empty room below

Pretty uneventful day honestly we just drove all day and stopped at a single gas station. After that we went to whataburger to meet up with one of my best friends from high school. It was Owen’s first time ever having whataburger so that was cute, he just thought it was ok.

then we came home and I gave my mom a Mother’s Day gift and now we’re about to go to sleep. Tomorrow our adventure will take us to Tennessee so expect more tomorrow ok 🩷

Last night I had a dream that a friend I haven’t heard from in a while but I really care about texted me and told me they missed me and wished we talked more. It made me really happy and I was sad when I woke up. But that’s ok im literally moving to Wisconsin tomorrow

Hi blog, I couldn’t talk yesterday because I had a big exam and another one today. Here’s my dinner from last night.

I have no new big updates today because I am once again studying. But hopefully I will be back to talk to you tomorrow!

Good morning blog. This was my lunch (ham and cheese sandwiches). I don’t have much to say today but I have to work on homework and go to an event tonight. I hope everyone’s days are great!

Good morning blog. Today I am going to study for exams and in like 30 minutes im going to get chipotle because I’m hungry and I want chipotle.

The MGMT album is beautiful but I expected nothing less from them! My favorite songs are still probably the singles but im excited to listen to it more over the next however long and become attached to the songs. I have a feeling this album will stick around in my rotation for a long time.

I think my favorite album ever might be Sling by Clairo. The first time I listened to it I was finishing up my first big album and I was about to move out of my parents’ house for the first time. I listened to it a lot during what were probably the hardest periods of my life over that next year and listening to it now it feels like an old friend who’s always been there for me. Such a special album. House of Sugar by Alex G also fills that niche, I listened to it all the time when I was very depressed a few years ago.

I didn’t get to practice guitar last night because I took a nap and then had to do homework, which I still need to finish today so I can study for my exams. Every single day this upcoming week I have an exam but I get to finish the week by picking Owey up from the airport and he’s going to stay with me for two weeks! I’m so excited so I will have a big nice payoff after a week of hard work.

Good morning blog! Have a look at todays breakfast. Today I am going to practice programming and maybe work on homework and also I need to practice guitar because I haven’t played guitar in a few weeks. I like to play my guitar because it feels very rewarding when I get a chord right or I’m able to play a song I like.

Yesterday my stomach was hurting pretty bad but today it feels a lot better. I ate a pub sub last night and it was really delicious and I am glad that I was able to eat a delicious sandwich.

When I get home from work and school the first thing I want to do is listen to the new MGMT album because I have been waiting for it for a long time. I will report back with my Review of the album tomorrow.
