The precure timeline is wild bc like, with all the crossovers n shit and the max heart group not aging, either the whole timeline is like. a year and a half or regularly we just get like...thirty-something nagihono wake up in their bed (bc they had a best friend ceremony dw bout it) and nagisa wakes in the sunlight, does a big stretchy and gazes lovingly over at honoka only to scream bc she's de-aged twenty years.
Honoka wakes, startled by the same realisation- ah shit, it's happened again.
They both sigh, get dressed in the outfits that they keep at the back of the wardrobe for days like this and call Hikari like "Hey girl, it's happened again. Can you do a social media search for any major events in Tokyo that might attract 80-or-so teenage girls with super powers? Honoka's already got the news on. Oh rainbow park, opening today? Extra sparkles, you say? OK, I'll text the groupchat."
And then they go hunt down the obvious precure trap of the month and search for a girl with pink hair and a pet rabbit that talks to her. once the day is saved, they revert to their adult selves and go back to normal adult life until the next random bullshit that needs 80 pretty teenagers in miniskirts and the power of love and friendship to defeat.
They part ways like "until next time, my dudes"
