Wanted to do a quick post in honor of my awesome Danish roomie!

A few fun facts about #Denmark: -Denmark is a little over 16,000 square miles and would take only 6 hours to drive around and circle the border -The highest elevation in Denmark is only 90 feet!  -The maximum prison sentence in Denmark is 16 years, regardless of the crime -If you are still unmarried, your friends and family will COVER you in cinnamon on your 25th birthday, and cover you in PEPPER if still unmarried at 30 -Denmark’s currency is the Danish krone, which is equal to 0.15 US cents -It costs $50 to drive across the bridge to get to Copenhagen -”Speak of the sun” is the Danish equivalent to “Speak of the devil” -McDonald’s golden arches are referred to as “Golden Seagull”  -A piggy bank is called a “saving pig” -The Sydney Opera House was designed by Jorn Utzon, a Dane -the actor who plays Jamie Lannister on Game of Thrones is Danish -Denmark has their own royalty, and the prince just married a commoner from Tasmania

Finally was our day at Freycinet National Park. We stayed at the lodge there which was about a 15,000% improvement from the Pickled Frog 😆the lodge was gorgeous and the first two pictures show our view. We then did some hiking and saw a Wallaby! Such a beautiful place - even if we were hiking in the rain in 40-ish degree weather. 5/5 stars!!

Next on our Tasmanian weekend adventure was Port Arthur. This used to be an entire community consisting of convicts serving time and the military guarding them. Lots of fascinating history here - most of the buildings burnt down in the 1700s. We each got our "own" convict to learn their story and mine was sentenced to Port Arthur for STEALING A SHIRT!! Poor guy. 4/5 stars.
