Hyper Little Gorilla Aarde Showcases Tough Guy Chest Beats in today's video! Continuing from last week, there is absolutely nothing cuter than little Aarde and his chest beats. We see Shufai and Aarde playing together, with Aarde really taking the lead. His little chest beats are just so adorable, and you can see he really wants to play with Shufai.
Meanwhile, Asante is sitting right in the middle of things. Normally, when trouble or play like this starts, she would be far away and up in her top spot looking down from above. But no, not anymore, she is right there! Asante only moves when something else happens.
As Shufai and Aarde are playing, Aarde climb up the rocks. I wonder if Shanga and Aarde would love the waterfall to be on again after years of being shut down. I am not sure if it broke or if the zoo just decided it wasn't worth leaving it on as it got hardly used, even in hot weather. Most of the time they went near it was when food fell in, though Shufai had a play once in the water, whilst Asante drank from it a couple of times and fished out some food. We also see Lope's signature clap and slide now being done by Shufai!
When Aarde smells Oumbi's bum, make sure to watch Aarde closely. Unfortunately, he slips, and you can't help but laugh as he goes down with his arms in the air! He is completely fine, and he immediately shows us he is a tough guy by beating his chest right afterwards. Shufai is looking right at him, so Aarde probably doesn't want to look foolish. It is so like us, isn't it? If we fall, we get up and try to laugh it off to hide the embarrassment! To wrap it all up, we see big original Oumbi sitting there calmly, casting his occasional look towards Shanga.
