Junjie literally thought he was the dark slinger for a short time, probably less than a year. I am quoting him. He had no concept that 20 years had passed. You cannot argue that he knew that 20 years had passed because he literally textually did not.

He felt no physical difference in age to raise suspicions during the physically demanding activities of ROTE, peak health of a 40 year old is very different to peak health of a 20 year old (suggesting he physically is not 40 like some of y’all argue). And, he had no memory of his time ghouled to refer back to (suggesting he didn’t age mentally like some of y’all argue).

I don’t even care about shipping, some of y’all just have piss on the poor media comprehension

If you wanna make creep arguments, argue that he’s 20, cause that’s still weird to ship with a 15 year old, but stop acting like he’s a whole ass middle aged adult because casual viewers will see your argument and dismiss you as crazy and blind.

Hamenku saying 20 years doesn’t fucking erase the proof we have of ghouling humans essentially pausing age indefinitely, the fact that Junjie had no concept of time passing, OR the fact that he could not tell that he had “aged” during ROTE.

I cannot believe I need to say this; STOP SEXUALISING MINORS. Both real and fiction. It's not okay.

I'm not sharing the user as I want to believe this post is enough to make them understand this is bad if/when they see it.

And please do not ship minors with adults aka Kord X Eli.

Kord is an adult. He crushes on and eventually is kissed by Drucilla, who was a kid (10-12 years old) during the Dark Slinger's rampage. Even if that the destruction needed 10 of the 20 years to do, that still makes Dru 20 at minimum. And I heavily doubt she as a character (and by extension, the writing team) would fall for a minor (under 18)

Edit (16/12/25): I completely forgot to mention that aging characters up (IF that's an excuse they attempt to use), is just avoiding the issue. If there was an aged up situation, it's still pretty disgusting to put it onto a character who for the entire series, was a child. Yes, I know AUs of future events exist (I have two after all), but in those, you should not be sexualising the originally canonical child/teenager

idk but the timing of this whole wave of asks about twisted-ends' OCs is kinda crazy 😭 people literally complained about the #slugterra tag being flooded with OC stuff and then suddenly all these asks start showing up? Asking yourself questions just to piss people off is way more problematic than the people they won't stop whining about. Insane lmao

Not gonna name names, but I think there’s a point where some people stray so far from canon that their stuff doesn’t belong in the slugterra tag anymore. I love seeing everyone’s OC’s and fanslugs, but when you’re inventing new sentient species the line is being crossed from canon into AU, and that’s ok!!!!! But others (like a-sad-mage) recognise that their AU’s leave canon and shouldn’t spam the slugterra tag. In larger fandoms I wouldn’t mind because there’s so much fan content to consume but like…. having to scroll past a billion ask responses for 1) a guy who isn’t canon, and 2) a guy whose species ALSO doesn’t exist in canon, gets really tedious after a while. Not to mention how some of her stuff are literally AU’s and they still get shoved into the tag. Idk, I guess I just want more respect for the tagging system since it’s such a small community (large ones get a pass because there’s no way to control that many people after all)

I'm Sorry, but so many of you are so so so stupid.

I don't normally interact with fandoms. at all, but seeing you all panicking over some "drama" is like watching two monkeys arguing about banana taxes with a wall in between each of them. Like Holy shit, it wasnt even shipping drama. Slugterrorrist was accusing someone of "exposing a minor to a rapefic" like straight up suggesting an adult was grooming a child. From there you guys saw a message made about a juneli shipper by the person being accused(wrongly might I add) and went "OH WHY ARE YOU GUYS HAVING DRAMA OVER A SHIP GUYS?!?!?!?" are you all fucking lobotomized? the person accusing someone of grooming using out of context screenshots gets to pretend they were innocent or shit. "Curate your own experience" the whole thing started with him being mad he was blocked by slugterra stan. literal toddlers.
