imagine if like every so often, Soundwave lures Starscream around the ship/base/whatever and they always end up at a waste disposal site and Starscream’s like “why are were here Soundwave” and Soundwave just goes “it’s my turn to take out the trash” and they squabble like children while Soundwave tries to shove Starscream headfirst into the bin/compactor thingy and Megatron has to come seperate them

Fliers and Science

It’s canon that fliers were almost never scientists and they were made fun of for trying to be scientists. How hard was it for Starscream and Skyfire to become scientists before the war??? This just creates more headcanons for me tbh

((When Vos opened its borders most if not all of the employment contracts submitted from other city states were for were for transportation and defense. Vosian leadership was reluctant to allow this as these frame types were needed within Vos and these contracting city-states did not want to offer the proper incentives to compensate for a dedicated fleet of Cargo planes.

In Vos transportation and Cargo shipping was a temporary duty that was assigned to all Cargo planes within the city-state. The entire Cargo plane population was cycled through this duty to alleviate the burden on the individuals and allow for greater freedom to pursue their private lives and interests. Vosian Trade Unions allowed those who were willing to take up this arduous operation to be contracted but stipulated that these fliers be given regular R&R for rest and maintenance.

Unfortunately, because of this high demand for transportation and defense, most mech’s first interaction with fliers were ones taking these contracts, leading them to believe that this was all fliers were good for. Its was especially difficult for Vosians that were contracted by city-states that enforced strict caste laws, as seen above. Before the fall of Vos, her leadership made an effort to make sure her denizens were treated with respect and dignity across Cybertron but, their influence only went so far…))

Your comics encouraged me to watch the g1 cartoon and my conclusion is more continuities should give megatron and starscream that zedd and rita dynamic they had going on. Please they used to be so funny before the extra toxicity in the past couple of decades

Yeah!! I think it's because they really committed to the bit with Starscream in the cartoons. Megatron was also a loser in the cartoon, which really adds to the absurdity of it all

More modern Starscreams feels like they're trying to add depth to his character by making him sympathetic but also trying to keep the iconic bitch energy and we get this mix as a result that wants to be evil so bad and is fighting against the writers that want him to be good? So you never get the "oh shit" moment where you realize that Starscreams pathetic begging was a mask for someone who could be a greater danger than Megatron, if given the opportunity. And then after almost killing everyone, Megatron STILL TAKES HIM BACK? Absolute cinema.

Ultimately, they keep on crawling back to G1 for more serious continuities but they never seem to include my favorite thing about their relationship
