artists should have the right to own their music. the music THEY MADE (!!) doesn’t belong to people who didn’t even take part in the writing of it, therefore those people shouldn’t have the right to control whether or not the artist can perform or use their own music. it is literally nonsense that Taylor can only do that if she gives up re-recording her old music and the right to talk about the fact that she thinks this is wrong (which she is legally allowed to do).

I was devastated to see that Taylor’s right to the music that SHE MADE had been taken away by a man that betrayed her and a man that bullied her, none of them had a hand in the writing of her music. and the fact that she has nothing she could do about it makes it even sadder.

I don’t know what will change that, but at least we are getting our voices out there and letting Scott and Scooter know that what they’re doing is WRONG.

Scott and Scooter, I’m hoping that after you see all of what we’re saying, you’ll have some conscience and give back what doesn’t belong to you.
