I dont know if I’d consider this a headcannon per se but I like to think Mulder and Scully bought their house in the middle of nowhere, not because they were on the run and hiding but because they like having loud sex and they were starting to get banned from motels. Now, they can have sex in and out of the house (porch sex anyone?) as loud as they want cause they got no neighbours to complain!
