Chungha took the time to appreciate this girlâs beauty-it wasnât like the other girls she had encountered at Hogwarts. There was something underneath the surface, something that was wild and untamed and dangerous. It was bewildering to Chungha, who had more of a tame and docile kind of beauty, but also fascinating.
It drew her in-and that was dangerous. It would probably be her downfall if she didnât watch her step. After all, this was a Slytherin she was dealing with.
Chungha had tuned back into what the girl was saying just as she said âastronomy towerâ. Chungha hadnât even known that such a thing existed, much less could have imagined that there was one right in the castle. Immediately, her mind started flying everywhere, trying to think of what wonders this could hold. âI could perhaps even see the moon so close that if I reached hard enough I could touch itâŠâ she fantasized.
Chungha whipped her head to the girl, her brown eyes looking even more intense since they were lit up in the moonlight. All of her previous warnings about this girl being a Slytherin and having an interesting pull to her like a magnet flew out the window when the young Hufflepuff heard âtake you thereâ. Suddenly, adrenaline was filling her up and she could barely contain her excitement.
{ âAh, uhm yes I would very much appreciate if you took me there. This instant.â} Chungha said, the urgency and excitement in her voice slightly coming through.
Aurora was different, that much was known. Her aura put off one of elegance and class, but deep down inside her there was a beast ready to be released with each passing moment that the moon grew larger. Regardless of the usual Slytherin traits that most had, she showed off a softer side on occasion. One of which she remembered her own father not caring much about while her mother was overjoyed by.Â
This Hufflepuff, she wasnât a threat. Nor did she need to be treated badly --- She got that enough from other students who also wore that green and black tie around their necks.Â
Aurora had actually watched the girl from the very moment she stepped food into Hogwarts --- Stalker like? Yes. But she was far from that. Her way of getting to know others was simple, especially if she stayed back and remained to herself after examining them --- Watching body language and really seeing how they worked without them knowing. Only then would she know they were worthy enough of her presence. And this girl, she saw potential in.Â
The young Slytherin wasnât necessarily looking for a friend, but instead someone to talk to at night. Someone she knew wasnât going to pry too deep into her life to figure out what she was; At least she wasnât ready to come clean just yet.Â
She could see the excitement boiling inside the young girl, this brought a smirk to her lips and a slight chuckle to immediately escape past them. She didnât say anything and instead turned on her heels and began heading down the corridor in the direction the two needed to go, moonlight showing her the way. âWell, are you coming my little badger?â
