{ f e l l o w m e n } Constance & Chaerin
The owlery was as busy as it usually was on weekends and having no sight of her eagle owl, she opted against using one of the school’s owls to send her letter. Irritated and somewhat disheartened, the rolled up scroll of parchment remained tucked in the inside pocket of her robe as she made her way down the irregular stone steps and wove her way through the crowds of students back into the castle. A few familiar faces stood here and there and she took notice of a small group of fellow Slytherins making their way outside—she greeted them with a nod of her head before turning to follow the all too familiar path towards the common room.
Chaerin walked the corridors with rushed steps, aiming to arrive in the common room as quickly as possible to discharge of the robe that was anything but suitable for the rather warm weather outside. Thankfully, the cooler dungeons were more suited to her tastes and she entered the common room as soon as the password left her lips in a hushed tone of voice. It was her aim—for the rest of the day—to get around to doing something useful enough to herself and possibly return those long overdue books to the library; no student looks good holding on to items taken out of the Restricted Section for more than discussed with the librarian.
It had only just been a few seconds at most since she stepped foot in the dimly lit Slytherin common room than the stone wall shifted to allow a newcomer inside. Turning around just as she was about to head up a smaller flight of stairs to the girls’ dormitory, Chaerin inspected the girl with a somewhat curious gaze.
The pages in the book flew past quickly, her focus hundred percent fixed on it's content while her fingers caressed the rough pages gently. Constance was quite a reader, that was no secret. She would often be found in her bed or a large windowsill, perhaps even beneath a tree far from civilization, with a book in hand.
Constance could feel her kitten jump up in her seat, causing a faint and rare smile to grow along her lips. Simply the joy of having her white kitten rub and nuzzle into her torso, the viberations of her purr meeting Constance's body caused bliss to bubble within her. Being the only one who could ever bring a smile effortlessly, he was precious. They say soulmates are those who follows you whenever, and will always care for you -- her soulmate was Kitty, the most precious one who had ever entered her life.
It was Kitty who caused her to look up, meeting a curious gaze which was set upon herself. The gaze was returned, a faint frown appearing on Constance's forehead as she put her book down, her head tilting faintly. "Hello?" The words pressed past her lips quietly, her soft voice full of curiousity because of the other. She was not sure whether to say anything else, or to remain silent and expect something from the other girl in the quiet room.
{Looking back into the staring girls eyes, slightly awkward grin on her face still} Sixth year too! Maybe we’ll be in some classes together? What’re your electives?
My electives? /her eyelids fluttered close slightly, as if she had forgotten for a moment before she shook her head faintly, eyes returning onto the other's; Astronomy and Elemental Studies.
gryffizawa replied to your post: {Smiles and bows slightly} Hey, I'm Yossie. I hope we can get along well!
{Carries on smiling despite the girls coldness, nods} Constance~ I’m sure I’ll remember that! What year are you in anyways?
/nods slowly, her eyes throughoutly searching the other girl's eyes and features; I'm in sixth year. And you?

As the sun hit her face, Constance's eyes narrowed and her lips formed a thin line. The sun was not her friend, unless she was laying on her tummy with a book in hand, and the wind caressing her skin. Which was not the case now. She moved away from the windowsill where she had been sitting, and slowly but surely moved down to her house's own common room.
The halls seemed to be emptier the lower she got, which did not bother her at all. She hadn't gotten to know any of the other students, therefore staying alone was something she was used to, as well as something she had come to enjoy to a point. Why whine about something you cannot change, right? Constance muttered the password to the commonroom and slowly entered, finding herself a large chair to sink into and a book to indulge herself with, hoping the silence would stay the way it was right now -- complete.
{Smiles and bows slightly} Hey, I'm Yossie. I hope we can get along well!
/bows her head, empty eyes landing upon him again; I'm constance.
