is it okay to submit mcsrshipping art in the portfolio section?

Hi there! Us in the organizing team will not be accepting any shipping art submitted in the portfolio. This may also be grounds with an application being rejected as respect to the general boundaries people have inside the community. However, if the art is made about those who are publicly dating and are okay with arts made of them, then this will be alright! I hope I've answered your question 💙!

hello! i’ve been trying to update my minecraft skin (since it’s based on a character and i recently changed the outfit lmao), do you have any tips for shading in mc skins? i’m mainly struggling with making the shading look natural on the jacket, but i’m kinda struggling

Hi there!! One of the things I did to improve my shading was look at other skins for references and see how they are shaded, especially in the body if it's in one color. The main thing to remember is that the "inner" part of the skin is shaded darker and the "outer" part is shaded lighter, especially for the arms and legs. I also recommend learning hue shifting and having 3–5 colors in your palette when shading. Also, just have fun with it, explore it and see which would look good to you! I hope this helps. <33
