“China? Well I suppose that’s a country everyone should visit sometime” She shrugged and filled her glass with water before raising an eyebrow. The young girl sounded a bit bitter about the whole traveling thing so she softly stroked away some hair from her face and shook her head. “Parents always come back when their children needs them Pansy.. I have no doubts your parents will be back before you knew it.” Molly walked to the stove around to make sure the food didn’t get burn, placing some more food on everyones plates. 

“Until Minerva says it’s safe.”

Pansy shirked away from Molly’s touch out of surprise mostly but a little disgust as well at the fact the women would even think to touch her in such a soothing matter since she wasn’t her mother or even suggest that she thought that Pansy thought they weren’t coming back. “Of course they are coming back, it’s not like they would abandon me. That’s barking! Although I could care less how long they take, I am completely capable on my own and if I need anything I have Mrs. Malfoy to owl.” Pansy said with a huff as focused on her shepard’s pie and rolled her eyes as Mollly mentioned Minerva. “That old bat...”

His firm decision to remain unfazed faltered when she mentioned his mother. His eyes widened, and he hoped Pansy would just assume it was a fact about the Siberian warlock rebellions he was outraged to read about. His mother did not send frantic owls! …Had she? Then he really had to hurry up before… Only when Pansy stopped talking and glanced at his arm did he look at her. He disregarded the urge to tug at his sleeve. Normally, he’d have started boasting about it already, but now, with one plan after another failing, and feeling the knot in his stomach… He couldn’t confide in her. He did not want to endanger her life as well. “Pleased to hear you’ve got it all figured out,” he muttered, with much less cavalier contempt in his voice than he had aimed for.

Pansy winced at the tone of Draco’s response but she had expected him to respond this way, she knew the Dark Mark wasn’t anything to scoff at, she learned allot about it from her parents since they were close to the Malfoys and she had the feeling he didn’t take it willingly.

“Draco, truthfully I’ve always known you be facing this. That you’d have to be like your father if..... He came back and yet that I decided to stay by your side all this time.” Pansy looked at Draco with soft eyes as she laid a hand upon his. “So even though I don’t know what trouble you will face or how I can ease it, please let me stay with you.”
